“Nice place...”

Hotel was nice & well maintained. Having children, the suite was very convenient! Front desk staff were great. Hot cookies were a nice touch. There was no information on area attractions in the hotel & no info on outside dining (Hey, the Hotel has a Bistro, where the service was painfully slow - the waitress was great, but it was only her....) The food was good, however. The wine glass came with a lipstick mark, at no extra charge :) Close to the Interstate, and handy for shopping & dining (no info at the hotel though... :( There is an additional charge for breakfast (other hotels nearby offer this complimentary), which wasn't great - we ended up dining out in the morning, on principle! Pool was nice, but small & the outdoor section was closed off (not heated). Poolside area was great for relaxing/ reading etc..

Area recommendations
Definitely "The Green" - super "village type" area for shopping and bars etc.. (~15 minutes from the hotel) Air Force Museum was awesome (again 15 - 20 minutes away). Boonshaft museum would be great for younger kids, not for early teens however...

I'd do some research on places to eat and for more area attractions etc.. if we went back. The hotel had no info on anything outside the hotel!

“Will definitely go back.”

I found the hotel service to be fabulous. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only problem I had was the housekeeping staff not re-stocking the proper number of towels and coffee.

“good hotel for family”

Liked the hotel except the rooms are not cleaned properly. I left the room in morning and returned in evening. Till that time rooms are not cleaned Breakfast was same throughout

“Very Nice but,”

It was great and everyone who worked there is nice. The room was great, we had 2 adults and 3 kids and it worked for us. There is so much around in the area so the location is perfect. Pool was nice too. The only problem is no free breakfast, that was a bummer.

Area recommendations
You are right next to the Dayton Mall, and so many restaurants, this is a good location.

“Great place when staying on business”

Clean, convenient, lots of restaurants nearby, and plenty of space for working in the room/suite in the evening. Service level in the restaurant for breakfast could use a bit of work, but otherwise no complaints whatsoever.

Getting there
It's tucked in the back, and a little tough to find the first time.

“Thoroughly Impressed!”

Mine was a delightful stay - smiling, helpful & accomodating staff, great beds with wonderful duvet covers. While I didn't eat there, I had a cocktail in the lounge (very good live entertaiment) and the staff there was great as well. Convenient to my business in both Cincinnati and Dayton. There is every manner of restaurant nearby, from chains like Friday's to award winning French. While my first choice hotel (Marriott) was booked when back in Dayton I'm not sure I'd stay anywhere else.

“Great stay”

This a great hotel and I would return. Traveled with extended family and each room was the same. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious. Having 2 televisions (living area and bed area) in the room was a plus as we were traveling with children. Great location, service, breakfast and pools. Enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools being side by side. As the weather changed we didn't have to go far to get in the other pool. There was a slight problem with the printers in the business center. But, the service desk resolved the issue very quickly. Great stay!

“One of the nicest accomodations we've ever experienced. Would go back tomorrow!”

This was a lovely suite with sitting area with TV plus desk to use our computer at. Also a fridge and coffee maker in a bar area. The bedroom area was nicely decorated and the beds very comfortable, as well as an assortment of pillows for our comfort. Nice bedding. More that adequate sink and counter area and nice lav/bath. The service was excellent. Our stay included a full hot breakfast at the inhouse restaurant every morning with a nice assortment of choices. Oh yes, there was also a TV in the bedroom area. The pools (indoors and out) and spa were clean and enjoyed by our family twice when they visited us at the hotel. Excellent service from the housekeeping staff.

Area recommendations
Bellbrook or Centerville, they are beautiful, clean fun communities.

“Very nice, but not ideal for families”

The hotel was lovely - clean room, comfortable bed, prompt service whenever I called down with a request. However, these suites do NOT have rooms separated by doors. Based on another reviewer who said the same thing I called before booking my room and the woman who answered assured me that the rooms were separated by a door. That was all we wanted in a hotel room as we were traveling with two children. I would definitely stay here again, but not if I am traveling with kids.
