“Poor housekeeping”

I had expected a lot better service given my past experience with this hotel chain. They charge 10 bucks per day extra for refrigerator and microwave which should really be complimentary. They only provide a very basic breakfast, again contrary to my past experience elsewhere. About the room, the duvet covers were dirty, there were'nt enough towels for 3 people, no facial tissues, no bin liners, no coffee supplies (on some days). They even left the door open once probably after housekeeping that I had to report at their front desk. Stayed for 4 nights with family. Won't recomment to anyone.

“Great Location”

this hotel was located close to all the attraction but not too close. Lots of places to shop and eat close by (walking distance. Good neighboorhod and friendly staff

“WOULD DEFINITELY STAY AGAIN”

WOULD MOST DEFINITELY STAY AGAIN ONLY DOWN SIDE WAS THAT THE INTERNET IN THE ROOM DID NOT WORK. STAFF WERE VERY HELPFUL AND PLEASANT.

“Worse hotel stay and wosre customer service ever!”

The day we checked in the shower had mold and the place smelled moldy and stagnant. I requested another room after the second night hoping the cleaning crew would clean up the place. After about 15 minutes in the new room, I tried to plug my cell phone charger in and the socket blew up burning my charger and my thumb. When I went to the front office, the manager, did not even care all he offered was to borrow a charger! After I contacted expedia, the rep tried to contacted the manager, and he hung up pn her three times and gave her a false name. I had to physically walk into the front office and hand him my cell phone to recieve my reimbursement. He was horrible to both the lady at expedia and to me. I will NEVER stay another super 8 motel, and I strongly hope and advice that you remove this hotel from expedia.

“Just right for the price”

We thought this hotel was perfect for our needs. We spent our days at the Disney parks and just wanted a hotel in which to sleep and clean up. The money we saved on lodging was put to good use in other ways. We have stayed at 5 star hotels that were not nearly worth the expense. The Davenport Super 8 was away from the bustle of the Orlando/Kissimmee area and was within 20 minutes of the Disney parks. The hotel was surprisingly quiet and comfortable. We wouldn't hesitate staying there again.

“This hotel was a dump”

When my party and I arrived, no one was at the desk. When the attendant finally came, he was rude. We got four rooms, two of them had a broken mini fridge. One had mold inside and the other had a horrible smell. The landscaping was not manicured in what seemed like weeks. Each of the four rooms had one towel, one hand towel, one wash cloth, and a floor mat. even thought they had double beds, which at very least suggests that two people will be lodging there. And when we asked for additional towels, they refuse stating that we could only get more towel if we returned the used ones, really? We had just checked in how would we have used any towels by then? Overall: You get what you pay for! I book with expedia at least once a month and this is my first disappointing experience.

“Super 8 Haines City simply sucks”

My eyes were swollen shut when I woke up every morning..there is either a major issue with the air system (my friend staying in the next room told me her son and her had breathing issues in their room too)..or the mattreses which were so old and gross were holding tons of dust. Sheets were not changed there were black hairs on my mattress..had to have the sheets changed. no fan in the bathrooms to take away heat/humidity from the shower mattresses were disgusting..caved in in the middle..obviously not replaced in years There is only one person on at all times EVER I never saw one staff my entire stay they only have the desk person there. No lifeguard/noone watching pool area SPEND A FEW EXTRA DOLLARS..DON'T STAY HERE!!!

“Not too bad...”

Other than our room having no refrigerator or microwave, it was fine for the price.

“Disappointed.”

Motel's service was good, requests done at the time of reservation were done, and others made while there too, employees were courteous and friendly. No complaints about them. Motel is in decay, building in bad shape, though about going to another place but the though of starting looking for a place to stay on a 4th of July weekend made me think twice about trying to find a hotel at that moment so we stayed. We used shoes all the time, carpet in room needs a good cleaning, when arrived shower had hairs on the wall. Luckily there were no bugs (we stayed 5 nights). This place might be acceptable for a one night mid-traveling somewhere else but definitely not for a family stay. At least that force us to avoid being in the room and to be somewhere else. By the way pool is in the same state of decay (everything looks old) and TV showed some kind of interference every few minutes. This is the second time I submit this review, the first one never appeared. I was misled by the reviews of other guests of the motel.
