“The pool IS THE WAVEPOOL”
Having the Wavepool in the back is so convenient and fun for both adults and kids. It will be great in the future when all the shops and restaurants are all up and running. It's only a short walk to the city. Great place to stay :)
“Wonderful! Easy!”
Great location, with great views! Very easy to get into the city with a walking bridge connecting the waterfront with the city. Staff were very helpful and the rooms were very nice and the price was reasonable for what you got. Bar/restaurant downstairs great for a arvo beer looking out over harbour!!
“Great location, very comfortable hotel”
This hotel is in a great location on the wharf precinct of Darwin and within easy walk of Mitchell Street. The first night of our 9 night stay we were put in a room that was next to the lift that accesses the walkway to Smith Street. This was very noisy and disturbed our sleep as we could hear the mechanism of the lift working. We complained and were moved to another room which was very quiet, comfortable and overlooked the waterfront. We found most of the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in very good condition as it is only about 2 to 3 years old. We would definately stay here again and be happy to recommend it as it was great value for money.
“Nice and Modern Hotel”
New hotel with modern rooms.
“Nice location, shame about the service.”
The hotel is well located and serviced with restaurants and recreation. The rooms are basic but do provide all that you would expect. There is a overhead walk way that leads into town and we had waterfront access to a great area to stretch our legs on. The service was average but pleasant and the room service was lacking when it came to making beds and cleaning the room.
“Great Place to Stay while in Darwin”
Fantastic time, although a large hotel so be prepared to walk to the lifts, not until later in the stay did we find the closer lift.
“A week in the wet season.”
The Hotel was in a really good location on the new Darwin Waterfront with the skybridge to town only minutes walk away. The only slight dissapointment was during heavy rain there was no bar to sit at you had to sit in the cafe where they were serving meals. If you sat outside the rain would drip on you. No bar to sit inside.
“never again”
the hotel itself was lovely, but we found the staff rude and unhelpful, they ruined the stay for us:( did not get what we paid for!!!!!
“wont go back”
It is a bit too far to walk to everything when you a older. The hotel had a lovely view and was very comfortable but the housekeeping was below standard our room wasn,t vacuumed for our stay 8 nights. The buffet breakfast was expensive, $25 how much food can you eat, The Darwin Casino was $14.50 and was much nicer. So we wont be going back.
