Staff is great. Clean. Typical room. Pool was very small. Food was mediocre. Eat outside the hotel.

We requested a nonsmoking room and got a smoking room. We complained and they moved us to another room that has a ladybug problem. The AC kept going off every 2 hours. There was a nasty, dry, crusty, wash towel hanging in the bathroom. We won’t be staying here again.

Positives first. Clean, comfy room. Friendly staff. Now for the bad. Place was under heavy construction and it wasnt mentioned during booking. Was directed to emter through a side door, which was locked and unattended. Needed a giest leaving to gain access. As soon as i arrive back with dinner, the fire alarm goes off. The shoddy contractors broke a sprinkler line. Unbelievable. The loud constructive continued until almost 8 pm.

We were there for a lacrosse tournament. The gentleman. Behind the counter and check in was already apologizing to other patrons because we were all there. I didn’t like that.

There are renovations in progress, so some amenities were not available. The lack of these amenities were of little impact to me personally, however, it would have been better to know about the construction at the time of making my reservation instead of so close to the check in date I would have paid a penalty for canceling. If someone was booking this particular hotel because it advertised a particular amenity, they would be stuck with this hotel even though another nearby hotel DOES have the amenity. The hot tub, for example.

Front desk guy seemed like he didnt want to be there.. Not friendly at all.. there were about 65 kids running around the halls and property most of the night.. very disturbing.. I dont believe we will be staying here ever again..

Very clean and staff was really on with quick responses to all requests. In the post Covid19 world where so many hotels have never returned to former service this is rare indeed. Staff was very friendly and happy to be doing their jobs. I would stay here again.

Family fun trip
Nice Place, not noisy. Great restaurant right in the parking lot. Gas fire out back could be a little bigger but still a nice sitting area to hang out with a glass of wine.

Room layout and furnishings were very good. However, the floors and furniture were dirty, and noise penetrates from upper floors, especially at 4AM! The restaurant was closed the night we arrived and every night thereafter and only open for breakfast on one morning. Staff were helpful and friendly, but unable to make the visit pleasant.

Nice Choice in Danbury
Clean facility with friendly staff and convenient location. There were a lot of "groups" on site and early it seemed that it was going to be a very loud evening, but it was quiet and we were able to rest well.

I liked the fact that I could check in through the app with no need to stop at the front desk and I was even able to get a key on my phone through the app to allow me to go directly to my room. I even checked out through the app. Amazing experience.

Pros: The staff was nice. Parking was very easy. The amenities like the pool and gym was a plus. Cons: The room looked really old and had the stale carpet scent. The bathroom was clean, but also looked very old and dated. The balcony had no furniture and it was dirty. It was the most expensive hotel in the area and it was really disappointing overall.

Pool looked cloudy and we were so surprised at how small it was. Hottub was out of orderwhich we were so looking forward too!!!! Although the rooms are big and clean there was a hugh stain on the ceiling over one if the beds,i was a bit concerned something might start leaking in the middle of the night. We were on the thrid floor with a wedding group whom im sure got a discount rm rate, unfortunately they were in and out all evening, a bit load!!!! They are a couple other hotels in the area id look into before returning.
