“Comfortable Dallas”

The Melrose Hotel has large, clean well-appointed rooms and a beautiful lobby. Service was excellent. Nice bar in hotel. Note, no swimming pool.

“One of my favorite hotels”

I love staying at this hotel. It is a great location for downtown Dallas events and the piano bar is wonderful. The food in the restaurant is really good, though expensive, however our service was not up to par at the restaurant this past trip - that differed greatly from other visits (two times that I can think of) It is an older hotel, but so well maintained that the pluses far outweigh the negatives: room size is great and not the usual layout. Corner rooms are especially nice. The pillows could be better and I'm not big on the rubber glued to the bottom of the bathtub. Room service food is extremely good.

“Nice Hotel. Good Location”

Positives: The Hotel was very nice. Room was large and clean. Climate control was excellent. Hotel Library Bar was very nice, busy, but not noisy. Location is great. Restaurant within walking distance. Katy Trail was just a few blocks away. Negative: Only Valet parking that was pricey.

“Lovely old hotel”

We really enjoyed our stay in this old, renovated hotel. Everything was first class. Four and a half star restaurant. Comfortable, cosy lounge. Classy. The only thing was that there was not a lot of room to spread out toiletries in the bathroom, but the size of the bedroom made up for that. I would definitely recommend the Melrose.

Excellent service and location. The hotel bar "the Library" was a fun and popular location. Very diverse group of people, excellent service.

“Close to Hospitals”

I would stay here again. The rooms were very big and bright. Dinning was wonderful the best fries I had at lunch and the burger was on the top of my list. This is a very well kept hotel and would recommend it to others. We could have used the Hotel Vehicle to take us to the Hospital they will take you any where in a 3 mile radius. We chose to take our car instead due to the appointments we had and knowing we would be gone all day.
