“The Westin Park Central Dallas”

The lobby and restaurant(s) were under renovation, so the only place to eat was in the bar. This was OK, but it was not staffed as a restaurant so the service was pretty slow. I would like to have been told about the renovations when I booked. I might have chosen to stay somewhere else in the area. Other than that, everything was very nice.

I started out at another hotel in the area and it was horrible so I cancelled my stay at that hotel and made last minute reservations at the Westin. I was pleasantly surprised and was glad to be there. It's probably one of the nicest hotels in that area.

The rooms were nice and the beds comfortable. The restaurant was good and service in all areas of the hotel was excellent. We will stay there again if in the area.

Everythin was very good. Could have been better if construction was complete on exercise room and pool area.

“Lovely hotel but poor value”

I stayed at the Westin in the summer when I came to visit my daughter and really loved this hotel. So when my husband and I came to town this fall, I selected this hotel. I was willing to pay the higher room rate for the same room since Dallas clearly has more hospitable weather this time of the year. What I did not expect were all the extras --- separately priced wireless Internet, parking fees in the garage, etc. This stay soured my opinion of the hotel. Although it is a beautifully appointed hotel, the facilities do not warrant the total daily rate you pay when everything adds up.

“Good business hotel”

The Westin was all that I hoped it would be when I booked the trip. It was a great hotel to stay in while in Dallas on business. It was close to the rail station, so it was easy to get downtown.
