“Rosewood behind the times”
The Rosewood Crescent is a nice hotel, but behind the times. No coffee maker in the room and $10/night for the internet. Parking overpiced for paying this much for the room. Best thing was the Starbucks in the same building. Toof far from transit lines, but cabs always abailble outside.
“Nice hotel, but customer service lacking”
We arrived late in the afternoon after driving 8 hours. I had requested two beds and was told we asked for one king. Even though I had email confirmation, I was told no doubles were available. I prefer my own bed because of joint problems, but the front desk did not seem eager to try to accommodate or express regret for the mix-up. The room was beautiful and comfortable, and in the end we enjoyed our stay. I wish the staff had been a little more accommodating.
“Crescent Weekend Getaway”
Overall, our experience was great. The one negative we had was that our room faced the main hotel entrance. One night, there were several guys out front that had been drinking somewhere and they were waiting for their cars. They started yelling and fighting with each other for about 20 minutes. Every sound in the courtyard at the front of the hotel just bounces off the buildings and echoes. We were on the 5th floor and it was REALLY loud. These guys were yelling outside right near where the main desk was, but no one was doing anything. I had to call down there and complain so that they would make the guys leave.
“Very good as always”
The hotel is like all of the Rosewood properties, excellent.
“Great Dallas Hotel!”
Clean and nice hotel. Great location and good service!
“Okay, but would not stay again.”
This is a very nice hotel and was conveniently located to the American Airlines Center (was in town for a concert). Parking was convenient and reasonably priced. However, I would not stay again because there are other choices that would be a better value. I know you can get a larger more updated room for the same price or lower. For the price we paid I would have liked to have breakfast included, a breakfast fruit plate was more than $35. But my biggest complaint was the lack of an ice machine. I do not like having to call room service and wait 15+ minutes for ice, plus the feeling that you're obligated to tip. I realize this would not be a big deal for many people but for me it was a major inconvenience and would prevent me from staying there again.
“Great Hotel.Great Location.Great Resturants. Great Spa.”
staff was great! The resturants were fantastic including service. starbucks was next door (actually in hotel sorta). great gym and spa. Rooms were on the small side but everything in it was nice Great bathroom products. Great value!
“First stay not the Last”
This hotel was great from the time of arrival to the time of departure.
“good hotel in dallas”
nice
“Nice hotel but damp bedroom!”
The hotel is very grand inside but it felt like it was very old and had a cold atmosphere. The bedroom was as described but it was very damp and smelt. The walls were thin and you could hear the actual conversations of the people next door. I would not go back to this hotel but maybe I was just unlucky with the room!
