“very impressed particularly with the location”
I would in deed go back again and again with the service I received, I felt like I was at home among friends and family
“great location, but doubt I'll stay again!”
I have to say the location was great! But on a down note the double size select comfort beds made my back and my husbands back hurt! The sheets were stained. The bathroom had peeling wall paper and paint, the complimentary tolitries were already used, and MOLD in the shower area on grount lines between the tiles and on the sheetrock in the corners of the ceiling.
“Great Stay!”
I was extremely pleased with the hotel. Clean, quiet, and friendly staff! Will stay again!
“Bed=good, bathroom=yuck/tiny, service=ok”
For the $, i expected a little more. Location was ok for me; I liked that there was a central market and whole foods right up the way (you'd need a car). I did not like the lack of follow through. I had my infant son with me and asked if there was a mircowave there so i could heat some stuff up for him, and I was told they were "not equiped to handle outside food." So i asked what they normally did in this case, and they said they had some "stand by" microwaves they keep for guest use, but they have to be brought up by the staff to the room. I said ok, and the staff said it would be waiting for us. Never saw a microwave the entire stay. The sleep number beds are comfortable...for what they are; glorified air matresses. i requested a king...got 2 doubles. that's not a deal breaker, but i'm certain there was a king available in that building; it wasn't that busy. check in and out were easy. dont order room service...i know it has a reputation of being expensive, but i found their rates OUTRAGEOUS. No continental breakfast here!!! Bathrooms were super tiny...you had to be standing in the tub to shut the door! Fixtures were loose. Screws were missing. Toilet moved/wiggled when you sat on it. Tub coating was flaking off. However we had lots of towels and housekeeping was good at replacing them. However, they don't replace linens during your stay. My son spit up on the bed, and the same linens were still on the bed. I cleaned it myself.
“Great Value and Comfort in Dallas”
Quiet room, very comfortable bed and very friendly staff. Felt like I was a most welcomed guest by all that worked at the Hotel. Only negative was that the pool was very small and not clean.
“Just OK.”
I've been bitten by a mosquito. And there is bad smell in one of the pillows.
“Close to Baylor Hospital”
Showing some wear
“Hole in the Wall”
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was not. The sleep number beds did not work, there was a hole in the wall by the air conditioner. They tried fixing it with duck tape and wrapping the curtains around it. The room looked like a do-it-yourself fix up with the electrical outlets hanging out of the wall. Would not recommend this hotel.
“Stayed in Worse but Not Worth What We Paid for it.”
Friendly staff and good location, but no fridge or microwave in our room. Sink in bathroom clogged and found a few hairs on bed.
“Great Hotel for the Price!”
We got an unpublished rate deal on this hotel for what a 1 1/2 star would cost; for that amount of money we were very satisfied. My husband said we should do that every time. The staff was very friendly, they let us check in early and the check in and out process was very fast and easy. Our room had 2 double sleep number beds. I'm not crazy about the beds, but for a single person sleeping in them alone, they would probably be nice. The air conditioning worked well, there were no strange smells or anything, and the beds had white duvet covers, which I love because I believe they probably get washed alot more. The room was clean and had been moderatly updated. It had a very nice indoor/outdoor pool, which my husband and son enjoyed, very nice restaraunts and dining areas, reasonably priced, downstairs. We were vacationing and going to The Children's Museum and IMAX at Fairpark, so the location was fantastic (less than 10 minutes away). Very close to restaraunts (we ate at IHOP for breakfast, about 1 mile up the service road) and easy to get in and out of. I do recommend bringing a fan (which I did) to drown out the road noise, but I do that at any city hotel. The hotel was true to the pictures. So for the money, it was comfortable, very nice, very convenient, and I would stay there again.
