“Wonderful staff,”

The Staff at this hotel was fantastic. Everyone was accomidating and kind. This is by far the best service that I have had in ten years. The entire staff from the front desk, maid service to the Valet made my stay a very enjoyable experience

We attended a wedding at the hotel and stayed there too. Everything was clean and modern. Would stay again if in downtown Dallas.

“Excellent - But....”

The only knock I have on the hotel is no shuttle service to/from the airport. Taxi costs are very high. The hotel itself was excellent, maybe a bit pricey but they compensate that with complimentary breakfasts and treats in the evening. It's close to anything downtown, whether Dealey Plaza, the DART, bus station, etc. Highly recommended.

“Great for Business”

This was my second week long stay at The Magnolia. I loved how friendly and helpful the staff was. My room was very comfortable and the complimentary, breakfast, cocktail hour and cookies and milk were great additions to every day. I love that Starbucks is connected to the hotel. I stopped by every morning and got my Skinny Vanilla Latte and then walked 3 blocks to my office. Location extremely convenient for downtown business. Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. Any of my complaints would be based on the city of Dallas and have nothing to do with the hotel! I will stay here again the next time I am in Dallas.

“Wow! An under-rated jewel!”

My wife and I were looking for a nice motel in downtown Dallas to spend our 5th anniversary. We were considering a four-star hotel outside of downtown, but before I made the reservations, the special offer on the price of that hotel ended. After much consideration, I decided that it would be better for us (given our choice of activities for the night) to stay in downtown. So I changed my search to include 3 stars hotels, and the one that caught my attention was the Magnolia with a 3 1/2 star rating. I wasn't sure why only 3 1/2 stars, but the desriptions seemed to indicate that it was lacking in some amenities (no pool, or restaurant on the premises), but these things were not important to us, so I made the reservation. Wow! I was impressed. The service at the desk was perfect, the Valet service was perfect, and they provided a shuttle service to anywhere we wanted to go in downtown for no charge! The room was nice, and in a style that compliments the architechture of the beautiful old building. The only concern we had was that the bathtub was a little dirty when we arrived, but a call to the front desk, and that problem was dispatched immediately. I also have to mention that the continental breakfast impressed me in that they actually kept the food stocked clear until 9:00 when they said thay would. That was important to us, since we had no intentions of getting up early!

“Great place”

I stayed in The Magnolia in Dallas for just one night, but would like to have stayed longer. The hotel has a fun retro design, very clean, great spacious rooms, and friendly staff. It actually felt more like a condominium than a hotel, I was ready to move in. It is in a good location as well.
