“Close and great”

Close to everything and very comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I will definitely use it again.

Area recommendations

North Dallas by the tollway is really convenient to downtown, and all the restaurants in North Dallas. I did not have to go very far to get what anything.

“Good value for the $$”

Overall, I would say this was a very good experience. Located near the Galleria and convenient to the Tollway. Read other comments about the large flatscreen and must agree. Other places have large flatscreens, but may not have HD channels. The Hyatt Place N did. Breakfast was very disappointing in comparison to others which offer same. In fact, the hot offerings were minimal and those available were awful. Room was in good condition and the neighbourhood seems safe. The Hyatt Place North is located back from the street so it's quiet. Again, for the money, this is a nice 3* and I'd certainly consider returning next year.

Area recommendations

Located about a half mile from the Galleria Mall. Also plenty of good restaurants nearby.

“Hyatt Place Dallas North”

Excellent affordable accommodations with relaxed but attentive staff. Smaller hotel nestled off Spring Valley and near Dallas Parkway. Convenient to Dallas Galleria. Quiet and comfortable double room had double beds and sitting area with sleeper sofa. Wet bar with small fridge and coffee maker. Good selection of items at continental breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

Area recommendations

The hotels (near the convention center, Heritage Village, and downtown) on IH 35E are convenient for conventions/conferences. You can find accommodations to fit various budgets. The hotels near the Dallas Galleria are very nice and the shopping experience is great.

“very nice hotel!”

Lobby was very nice and modern-looking. Room was as well - Looked exactly as it did in the picture online, which was nice. LOVE the big-screen HDTV that I can watch while laying in the comfy bed. Love the 24/7 food menu - Although I did not like that the poor front desk girl, who was the only one working at 11:30pm when we arrived, had to man the front desk to check in new guests and answer phones, AND had to go back and cook the food, too. If we had known that, we wouldn't have ordered food at 12am - I felt terrible for her! Breakfast was delicious - I suggest ordering something extra, however. Not much to choose from on the free buffet. Didn't get a chance to check out the pool, wish we would have. We didn't spend much time in the immediate area, we traveled into downtown Dallas and to Six Flags, but nothing in the area was particularly off-putting or eye-catching.

“Don't stay if you want to be able to sleep”

gracious staff and clean BUT... humming water pump kept me up all night. not good when you are on a business trip. lots of little things wrong with the hotel - no drain stop in the sink, toilet seat wouldn't stay up, bath tub felt like it might break when standing in the shower (i'm not fat). i prob would rate this place higher if it wasn't for that pump keeping me up all night. i can't believe they even put me on that side of hotel when there were plenty of empty rooms. i can live w/ the rest of the problems, but c'mon...we need to be able to sleep!

“A lot of little problems that add up”

The room (suite) had no drawers to store our clothes, a bit of an inconvenience since we were staying 7 nights. The view from our room was of an aentenna and ac units directly outside our window. THe pool was not in service the first 2-3 days (in 100+ degree temps). The service desk had no area maps or flyers for local attractions

“great hotel outside of dallas”

located in north texas and close to the highway. just be mindful when entering, the nearest highway is a tollroad (you will have to pay either at entrance or upon exiting). the hotel was fully booked and we got i late and had to say on the first floor. it wasnt that bad staying on the first floor. room was larger close to the pool and breakfast area but away and really was disturbed by any outside noise.
