“Friendly; practical; efficient; great value”
A very enjoyable, practical, honest value for money hotel. Staff at all levels were friendly and most helpful. the room was large and air-conditioning silent yet efficient.
“Impressed”
The room at Hotel Indigo was more than I expected. Clean and very comfortable.
“"The comforter reeked of urine!!!"”
When we first arrived at the hotel, we were impressed with the way the room looked. There were laminate wooden floors instead of the usual carpet, and the color scheme was beautiful. That however was the only upside. Room service was closed for lunch, and the cleaning lady seemed to have a problem with me asking her to come back after lunch to straighten the room. The shower experience was horrible. The hose would not sit straight in the holder so the only way to shower was by holding the hose in-hand. Most horrid was the stale urine smell coming from the comforter. I asked the front desk for another one. Needless to say, I never got a replacement. If my husband was not testing, I would have asked that we go to another hotel, but I did not want to add any stress to his stay. I WILL NOT STAY HERE AGAIN, and I'd steer anyone I know away form this hotel.
“Inattention to details”
I booked this hotel to stay downtown in Dallas one night and get a feel for the city. The location is pretty good, especially for the price. Deep Ellum is a few blocks away: tattoo parlors, bike shops, nice independent restaurants and coffee shops. It looks like an area that gentrifying nicely. To the North and West is the rest of the city. Since it's a pretty small downtown, location is fine. Uptown is just a couple miles away. I arrived at 12:30 and asked nicely to check in early. The accommodated my request at the simple price of going from a king to a queen size bed. No problem. This room seemed nice. I was only in it to change and go for a run. When I came back, the phone rang. "Sir, we have to change your room. But we'll upgrade you to a queen suite." Fine with me. Slight hassle, but I'm easy. I had to move from the 13th to the 5th floor. No prob. The room I get has a family room. Cool. The view from the bedroom is literally a brick wall. The doors open and block other doors. The shower puts out a spray that is less than 2" - completely inadequate and very low pressure. The internet is absurdly slow. The TV has something wrong with it and everything has a pink and green glow. I went to look at the gym. It had 4 cardio machines and literally 6 dumbbells. The place was affordable, but I'll probably try another hotel next time.
“A very nice hotel in a very good location.”
I was very happy with my stay at Hotel Indigo in Dallas, TX. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice, clean, and well maintained. The shuttle was very available and helpful for trips within 3 miles of the hotel. I was able to walk to key locations downtown. There were numerous great restaurants in the area and it was close to the Arts District. I highly recommend this hotel.
“Enjoyabe Stay”
We were well pleased with the hotel and the service we received while staying with you. The location is close to all and we would stay there again.
“Very Ipressed!”
Lovely bright hotel in a great location and lovely old rehab building.
“Nice surprise”
This was a last minute reservation for me and I was pleasantly surprised. The customer review were excellent so I thought why not? Driving up to the property I passed the hotel entrance twice. I was not impressed and a bit nervous. There was not were to park on the street so I extended up pulling up to the front door for valet. Once you enter the door, the experience is completely different from the exterior. Totally boutique, hip and clean. The room and staff was very nice. The bar and bartender was great but the food was OK. I think the restaurant could use some help and traffic. The one thing that I loved and impressed me was free Wi-Fi and Aveda products. By the way, Hotel Indigo is part of the InterContinental Group. A fellow customer who is a regular at Hotel Indigo, Dallas said Hotel Indigo's are pretty nice in general.
“Will Definetly stay at Hotel Indigo again!”
Our stay, even though it was only for one night, was VERY enjoyable!! The rooms were beautifully decorated and the entire decor of the hotel had me mesmerized! We loved the location in the heart of downtown Dallas, only blocks away from the local nightlife scene and several lovely eateries! The drinks and food in the hotels bar were overpriced to be as ordinary as they were, but that won't stop us from staying in this quaint hotel :-) the staff was very attentive and helpful when called upon, even at 2am when we were hungry and looking for somewhere still open! Absolutely loved our trip!
“Coolest hotel I have stayed in for a log while”
One of the best renovations I have seen with a great old lobby decorated in a tropical theme makes you feel you are in Singapore or somewhere similar. Rooms are stunning for the price. But best of all is the staff who are super friendly and efficient and able to help with apparently just about anything. I have mixed feelings about raving too much because I want to keep this place to myself!
