Very accommodating for big group

Posted 22-Jun-2015
We recently stayed here for a car show in Dallas and check in and check out was very easy with our large group. Made accommodations as needed as we arrived a lot earlier than check in time and that was no problem. The hotel itself is very beautiful and rooms are nice and clean. Room service was also delicious. Will definitely stay again the next time we visit Dallas.

Beautiful hotel and large enough to not be wedged in with all guests, yet casual enough to introduce myself to small gatherings.

Nice hotel with some improvements needed

Posted 01-Jun-2015
When we got to the hotel we cannot determine how to check in . I guess they want everyone to use their $37 valet service . There were no parking spots that were clearly marked for guests checking in . You could not get into any of the parking lots without a hotel key so we just kept driving around looking for guest parking . We finally found a few spots with the title applicants only . All others will be towed . I only hoped that that meant this was for hotel guest check-in's and I still have no idea if it was . Nonetheless we got checked in . We paid online for a king bed and somehow we ended up with two small double beds. We were not happy with this at all because I'm a large gentleman and this was the first night of our honeymoon. When we got to our room there was a gentleman standing at the next door with all of his stuff and a huge gallon of vodka . He appeared to be waiting for someone . It turned out they were having some type of get together right next to our room and we could hear the whole thing directly through the middle door . They pretty much kept us up all night . No breakfast there so we used the ExpressCheck out and left our keys in the room like normal right ? But when we loaded everything up in the truck we noticed that we needed our key to get out of the parking lot . So that stressed us out again and we started driving around looking for another exit . Finally I said to hell with it I'll just give them my visa card . They let us out

Less than expected.

We were given a 4th floor room at check-in and asked for a higher floor. The clerk immediately told us that no higher floor rooms were available with a king bed. This seemed suspect because of the immense size of the property, and I wondered if Expedia customers were being discriminated against. The room had even a worse view than expected, as all we could see was an alley way retaining wall. The room had a mini-fridge which was unusable for the guest because it was stocked with pay items. The parking was $20, which seemed high since the hotel is not actually downtown and they do not have a parking garage.

Pros: The room, the bed, the bathroom
Location: At that time, I just wanted to relax, watch movies and order in. Managed to have a Swedish Massage which was Outstanding and greatly needed.
I was staying there with my Sister-in-law for Mothers Day after dealing with the death of my Son in December and could not be home. I was so Pleased and it truly helped to ease my Pain by the being in such a Wonderful and extremely Friendly Hotel. My life is one moment at a time and your facility helped me tremendously!!. Thank-You

Very comfortable

Had two great nights here. The hotel room on the executive floor was amazing with a great view. Bed comfortable, restroom was very clean and big, I would've liked to have a better continental breakfast though. It didn't seem like much was offered. Overall, hotel was great
