The 12-story Grand Hyatt DFW has 298 guestrooms. All feature Hyatt Grand Beds with 11.5-inch-thick pillowtop mattresses and simplified bedding that elimnates decorative pillows and bedspreads. A bedside touchscreen panel controls the room's window shades, temperature and lighting.

All rooms have 32-inch flat-screen TVs with HBO and pay movies. Bathrooms have separate walk-in showers and soaking tubs, spa toiletries, and bathrobes. Rooms are soundproofed with double-paned windows and blackout curtains. Oversized black granite-topped desks have dual-line cordless phones and leather blotters. “Love it”

I've stayed here a couple of times. I love the convenience of location right in the terminal. And, it's very upscale but not always expensive. The room service menu is varied and the qualify delicious. If it's too pricey, the Hyatt Regency in another terminal is usually less.

Area recommendations

I like the West End. The Aquarium is fantastic.

“The place to staty at DFW airport”

Arrived from london, hotel is above international terminal. It is about 100yrds walk after going landside. Reception staff excellent, very helpful. Room very modern and well equipped. Restaurant very good. Had breakfast in room, arrived on time hot and good. Check out excellent. Nice touch was the ability to have boarding cards printed off and given priority access cards for security which saved a lot of time. Overall fautless and will use again

“Unexpected delight”

I stayed at the hotel because I had a layover on my way to Cozumel. It ended up being a really relaxing way to start my vacation rather than the drag I expected. Beautiful room, with really comfortable bed, and very convenient touchpad light controls. An added plus was that the restaurant was very good also. Wow, didn't expect that from an airport hotel.

“Convenient”

The hotel was located within the confines of the airport making it very convenient for business. The prices for food was a bit overboard considering what you get. For one person, salad, and two glasses of wine $60 and for breakfast, one person $50.00. I give the overall rating for the hotel and accomidations a 3.5. I will say the staff was very nice and service was prompt.

“Will stay again”

Really great hotel. The front desk and staff were very helpful and nice. The room was perfect for me. I do have to give one little negative. I was on the warm side at night even with A/C turned all the way down. The bathroom is really large ( the stand alone shower is great ). Great view of the skyline of Dallas and Fort Worth. I really enjoyed the evenings on the rooftop by the pool. Great way to relax. You will not go wrong by staying here !! I know I will again !!!
