“The perfect sweet sixteen party!”
My daughter and 3 friends enjoyed dinner in Dallas and we topped off the night at the Gaylord! The Christmas decorations were extravagant. A complete thrill! Bustling with people, it put each of us in the holiday spirit. The staff was genuinely courteous. This place ranks tops!
“Gaylord Texan is great”
We love the Gaylord Texan it's a complete resort!! You would never have to leave if you didn't want to!!!
“Nice hotel”
A lot of conventions here. The hotel has it all. Everything you need is here
“We will definitely return”
Loved the Gaylord Texan. Great restaurants, shops and pools.
“What a Great Place”
Our stay at this resort was awesome. We would highly recommend it if you have plans to travel to this area.
“Good Hotel if you are attending a conference, not much else to do”
Hotel is very conference orientated. Very isolated form downtown and very hard to travel around if you do not have a car. Food in sportrs bar very ordinary, change in munu has been a failure, ribs ere very poor, tarveled form Aust to indulge in the best ribs in the world only to be very dissapointed. Cost of drink on the upper side catering for conference attendee.
“Had a great time!”
For a "one night away" with the hubby, this place was fantastic. There is a shuttle to and from the waterpark, and you can go the day you check in and the day you check out. We were able to lay out and sip on alcoholic drinks and just enjoy our time together at the pool/lazy river. The only downside at the waterpark is that the DJ leaves at 5pm and the music then is all oldies. There is also a shuttle to the Glass Cactus and the cover charge is free when you stay at the Gaylord. The room was sufficient for our needs, and I was able to get the room as cold as I liked since I can't at home (the hubby won't let me). All in all I would love to do this again and would recomend out of town guests to stay here.
“As expected”
We stayed at the Gaylord Texan for one night for our family trip. Our plan was to stay at the Gaylord Texas one night and then the next night would be at another water park across the street. Our room was quite small with no view; view of a parking lot. The room was pretty small and it was the TV cabinet is what took up all the space. The water park was not as big as expected and pictured on their website. Over all staff was very friendly, the fitness center was better than expected, and the breakfast food was pretty good.
“Great Place to Go”
My husband and I spent two nights here. This was our second visit. Staff was nice. Great place to go for relaxation. We only had one problem though. We were on a floor with a bunch of families with screaming kids. We could hear kids screaming, running, and throwing tantrums on our hallway. Other than tha, my husband was glad that we went there to relax.
“fun place”
Had a great time. very nice hotel, staff great
