“will remember and return!”

older hotel, but very well redone! comfortable, clean. easy location. small room, but not a problem. breakfast was very good. nice bistro located in the parking lot. will recommend to friends and family.

“Near Cityplace Station”

The best about this hotel was the short distance from a rail station. A 15 minute walk to Cityplace Centre and station. 10 minutes by train from the centre of Dallas.

Getting around
The car is everything in Dallas, if you don't drive, try to stay near a station. Dallas bus service is not very good. The trains are much more frequent .

“Great central hotel”

This hotel is very convenient; easy to get to and perfect for an inexpensive short stay. The breakfast supplied is terrific.

“On the freeway , not in town !”

Thought I had booked a hotel in Dallas , not on the freeway out of town. Do not let the hotel book you a cab as someones friend turns up in what is not a taxi with no meter & charges double the going rate or on a trip to the airport takes you well out of the way to pick someone else up & then tries to charge you both an excessive fare !! They then upon leaving charge you more than the expedia quote ! Diner next door was great though !

“Pleasantly suprised!”

We were in town for our daughter's college graduation and had 3 rooms booked. I was a little skeptical at first just driving by on the freeway..............it looked like an older hotel. Well, we all were pleasantly suprised. The staff at ck in were very nice. They accomodated us with all 3 rooms together. We spent 2 nights there, and would stay there again. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. The fridge was important to us and the free breakfast was very good!

Area recommendations
We stayed off I-75 same as North Central expressway................it was close to Lemmon street and that's where alot of eating places, bars, etc are. Mckinney avenue has alot of restaurants and cool places to hang out too! Also Oak Lawn street has alot to offer also. There is a few shopping places close by. Target, Big Lots, and Ross. Target has a grocery in it, so that was helpful. It was a great location for us. This hotel sits off of Fitzhugh street and there was a quick stop close by, a Jack in the box and a McDonalds across the freeway also. Pretty convenient !
Dining
You have to go to Gloria's Mexican food restaurant when you come to Dallas. Located off Lemmon Ave. The parking garage was a little trickly because of the size of the truck we were driving. But worth it. Atmosphere was great, and food DELICIOSO! Also, check out Whole Foods Market on Lemmon Ave. Oh my goodness, they have the best deli I've ever seen. We even got sushi from there and some awesome side dishes!
