“Off the beaten path...and worth it!”

The walls are thin, but the service makes up for everything. If I could give 10 stars for the attentiveness, helpfulness, and politeness of the staff I would! The hotel is a bit out of the way, but it is quieter, and the hotel has drivers take and pick you up most anywhere and most all hours.

Extremely helpful staff, full of accurate and helpul advice about Cusco and the surrounding region. Excellent service and very reasonable rates. The room was very clean and comfortable, the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices and the shuttle service provided by the hotel was excellent. I would recommend this hotel to any traveller heading to Cusco.

“Excellent choice for lodging!”

Don't waste time checking out other Cusco hotels. This one is tops! Personalized service, they delivered everything as promised! Picked us up at the chaotic airport, fixed breakfast early so we could eat on departure day. Also gave us great advice for Machu Picchu day trip, arranged for MP and bus tickets. Packed us a sack lunch for the day! All staff is very helpful, the hotel is spotlessly clean as well! I would recommend for anyone staying in Cusco for any reason, but the MP trip arrangements is something they do very well.

“Cusco best quality/price hotel”

This hotel is slightly outside of the main square (its not really walkable) but the car service or as I like to call it, my "driver" picked us up relatively quickly and took us wherever we needed to go. I actually preferred this place over staying closer to Plaza De Armas because its a local area with local residence and you get more a feel for what its like to live in Cusco. Everyone will give you great advice on where to go so just ask. Rooms: Clean, private bathrooms and very cozy - warm blankets, comfy beds, personal heaters, and a safe. Tip: Rooms on the higher floors are quieter. Common Areas: Free internet, couch with books and TV to share, free tea and hot drinks Food: Breakfast was good variety of local foods - cereals, breads and baked goods, and we were packed a breakfast before our trek on the inca trail. Service: Every single employee we met at this hotel was extremely friendly and nice. Honestly, it goes from the front desk, to the owner, to the driver, to the maids etc. it was a little bit shocking at first but you get used to it :) Would definitely recommend people staying here. Its a gated hotel with limited access, so you can always feel safe.

“"The best service I've ever seen"”

Fabulous service. I'm a seasoned traveler and the stay at Torre Dorada exceeded anything I've experienced before. Staff were available (and smiling!) 24/7, going out of their way to help us. Henry, Danny and Arturo provided lots of tips on how to reach the monuments using local transportation and trekking trails. Carina (the cook) prepared tamales and corn bread specially for our breakfast. Mario (the driver) patiently hiked the ruins with us, providing a wealth of information about local life. Peggy (the owner) is a delight to chat with during breakfast. If you want personalized service, comfort, fair prices and the feeling of being in a safe haven, go no further than Torre Dorada. I highly recommend the hotel and their tour service.

“Cusco home away from home”

We stayed before and after our Inca trail trek and the hotel staff performed at a 5 star level including the owner (peggy) taking my wife out shopping . The location is perfect, away from the noise of downtown but they have a 24 hr car service at your disposal at no extra cost.
