“Sirocchi”

The hotel does not have Air Conditioning, and during the day temperatures reached 77. Thus, the room at night is unbearable to sleep in, and there were no windows to open to the outside for any breeze. Were there A/C I would have given the hotel a 4 for both Comfort and Overall satisfaction! Watch your change when paying your bill; as I had to pay 21 soles, and I presented the lady at the desk with 101 soles, and she only gave me 40 soles -- instead of 80. I didn´t catch this until I arrived at the airport and paid the taxi driver!

Area recommendations

MACHU PICCHU -- A sight not to be missed. Further, the bus ride up and down the hill is exhilerating.

“The nicest staffs and the best service”

We were in Cusco for 2 nights last October. The staffs there were very friendly, helpful, and fluent in English. When our flight from Lima to Cusco was cancelled, all it took was a last minute email from us to the hotel to pick us up again at the airport the next day, they responded right away, and were there early in the morning waiting for us at the airport. They were helpful in giving us information on where to get our Machu Pichu entrance permits in Cusco, or any other helpful tips. Hotel was clean, comfortable, and a short walk to the center of Cusco. The breakfast was delicious. Defnitely will stay here again.

“Everything in walking distance”

Nice, clean hotel, central location. Friendly service!

Machu Picchu, of course... But organize your trip at least 3-4 days before you go and don't forget to buy entrance tickets in advance!

“good middle price hotel cuzco”

good hotel with charachter 1st room tiny so we asked to move took 2 nights but they did it. breakfast starts at 5 am so can be noisy in rooms (machu pichu day trips ) most bedrooms windows front onto main seating area for meals. staff very helpful, dont use laundry service they ruined ours.

Area recommendations

beware san pedro market organised gangs pickpockets, a taxi to the four closest ruins then you can walk 8 kms back down hill. wonderful day

“Fabulous (maybe a little noisy on the first floor)”

This hotel is really great - the staff are friendly and very helpful. The communal area is light and bright with complimentary koca tea and internet. The rooms are very clean and comfy - though you can hear other guests in the hallway quite clearly. There are rooms on the 1st floor right by the communal area - I woudl suggest requesting a room on the second or third floor to get a better sleep. I woudl definitely stay there again.

This hotel is an easy walk to all the central parts of town.

“Great Location”

Check in was well oragised We had a room on the second level ajacent to union was a little noisy due to down hill traffic. Beds were comfortable with small pillows.Bathroom was small not much room to sit down on toilet (Im not huge but tall!) Restaurant in the courtyard provided local flavor meals at affordable rates and was convienent after a day of travelling. Wi fi internet speed was good the room. Hotel is located convieniently close walking distance to Plaza San Francisco and Plaza de Aramas(the main square) There is a large supermarket located at the intersection of Union (one way street) and Santa Cruz as well as markets (Godd value Shopping for local goods etc )on Santa Cruz 2min walk from the hotel. Taxis can only stop for two minutes so you need your soles ready for the diver(10-20 soles from airport to the hotel)

“Terra Andina, Best Service in Cusco”

The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgable about the area. The included breakfast was amazing, a great way to start each day. They remade the bed every time we would leave after a nap, not only each morning. Great hotel.

Area recommendations

stay within a few blocks of the Plaza Del Arms. This is the main square. The environment is much more friendly for tourists there. Terra Andina is close to the square and near the main market. it's a nice location.

Getting around

we rented a motorcycle two different times from a rental place near plaza del armes. it was a great way to get around to nearby ruins and adjacent towns. This was much faster and cheaper than taxi or bus. costs around 45 USD (120 Soles) for a whole day. you only need a passport and some cash to rent, no license necessary.
