“The Best Western of Peru”

The Casa Andina chain is a very capable hotel group. They have wifi, coca tea on demand and cable TV. There is a doorman to welcome you and complimentary breakfast. This a very decent hotel, but it comes across as somewhat sterile. If you are looking for an authentic Peruvian experience, you would do better to look elsewhere, but if you're looking for a decent B&B that's close to the Plaza de Armas and San Blas, then Casa Andina Classic - Koricancha will do the job.

Area recommendations
San Blas is a beautiful hillside community with interesting narrow streets. Also check out the market beyond the San francisco Plaza.
Dining
Check out Jack's Cafe in San Blas. It's owned by an Irish/Australian couple and patronized by lots of ex-pats. Delicious food!

“NICE SERVICE”

Simple but nice. Clean, confortable enough. The staff was very nice and helpfull.

“Get a room away from street and on one of the upper floors”

Hotel is fine but the rooms near the street are very noisy. I was finally moved to a room on the 2nd floor which was quiet although it did not have an external window. Wi-Fi is good and breakfast adequate.

“trés bon hôtel dans une superbe ville...on y serait bien restés plus longtemps”

Hôtel charmant, personnel gentil et serviable, pas loin du centre historique, dans une petite rue très agréable... une très bonne adresse. De plus, les casa andina sont une valeur sure pour un périple au Pérou.
