Very welcoming host. Ian was exceptionally hospitable and nothing was too much trouble. Ian was so accommodating and helpful. Excellent breakfast, value for money. Would stay again and recommend to family/friends. He cooks a mean steak!

Gorgeous guest house
Brilliant stay at The Glencree. Great location and beautiful property. Ian our host was amazing, nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in the romantic double with balcony, although the room was small it was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. Overall an outstanding stay and would definitely return.

A fab stay in Windermere!
We stayed at Glencree for 2 nights, our first time in the Lake District. We couldn’t have wished for a better break away! Ian, the host, was super friendly and gave brilliant advice on activities, restaurants etc., upon arrival. The location was perfect for short walks into both Windermere centre and Bowness. The room was spotless with gorgeous decor and morning breakfast was delicious. Will 100% stay again in the future. Thank you!
