Our guest rooms and suites are spacious and bright with a large work stations, comfortable bedding, televisions, large armed chair with reading light, shower / tub combinations with Green Natura biodegradable amenities that are composed primarily of Post Consumer Recycled material, environmentally friendly and used to conserve our limitied resources. We have waterside accommodations with or without patios, garden side rooms with or without patios, we have a limited number of one, two or three bedrooms suites, we can off mini micro/fridge combinations based upon availability. Our rooms have central air conditioning and self operated heating controls.

We have 12 golf villas that sleep up to 6 persons and are located on the golf course with a spectacular view of the well manicured course, emerald pines, grand oak trees and the abundant wildlife, truly an incredibly relaxing experience.

Our Plantation Room is our main dining room serving breakfast, lunch and dinner and Early Bird Specials served Sunday thru Thursday 5:00pm to 6:30pm and a Grand Sunday Brunch from 11:30am to 2:00pm. Library Bar lends itself to a great gathering spot in the center of the resort, our newly renovated Tiki Bar is open seasonally and is a great location to dine pool side and enjoy the perfect Florida weather and the fabulous view of Crystal River, we also have our Pro Bar which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and has a full bar.

“Manatees and Golf”

“Kind of upscale in the Crystal River area.”

Great location. Beautiful pool and hot tub. All facilities onsite for visiting the springs and manatee tours, including boat launch ($10). No charge for overnight docking/trailer parking. Room is not large, but clean and well kept. Onsite restaurant is good and staff very nice.

“MUST BE A MANATEE LOVER”

The advertisement for this resort location is more glamorous than the actual visit. This place is located in a tiny little dirty town that worships manatees. Absolutely nothing to do in the surrounding area. The whole cash crop is manatee and the whole town revolves around it. The resort itself did not have any service at the pool for drinks or food. However, the restaurant food was good and the staff was friendly.

Pack bug spray. The resort is located on the water and there are a ton of bugs.

“Luxury, Yes! A Great Treat - but geared toward Couples”

WoW! This is a knock-your-sox off experience, especially if you want to treat your dearest love to a get-A-way. I will return with my husband the next time I go to The Plantation. But, just ending a book tour ...and to put my feet up for a few days ...not such a great choice. The most glaring glitch was that the dining room staff was very, very awkward with the 'seating for one' thing. And, this isn't even a 'Latin Country in the Eighty's!' [Note: in the olde days single women were not seated in the upper end restaurants of Puerto Rico, etc because only 'call girls' came out by themselves at night.] the seating hostess at The Plantation said, "For one? Uhhmmm...it could be a while!" [the dining room was less than half full - it took ten minutes to get a little table by the pillar] Then the server only served my coffee and gosh! there were no re-fills! Scoot! Scoot! By contrast, the check-in was welcoming and delightful, the grounds staff friendly with greetings and 'wave you on's' - the new management is evident everywhere but in the dining room.... like I said, go to The Plantation - but take a date!

“was a pleasant stay”

my room was very nice and clean, however the rooms had a bit of a stale smell as with the hallways, but after opening doors and letting fresh air in it went away, dinner and breakfast were very satisfying, it is a beautiful place, very picturesque

“It was the most expensive in area.”

For the price, I could have had a continental breakfast at less expensive hotels. They offered NO extras, soda machine on the hall didn't work, they said try another one. The bathroom was very/too small. We had to carry our own luggage, no cart availabe and no one tried to find one. It didn't have the class I expected.

“Manatee Lodging”

Older resort, however the room was recently updated and compares to any 3 star plus hotel. We stayed here because we came to swim with the manatees. Sleepy little town, however, great little bistros and resturnts on the water. Nice for exploring. We would come back...
