“Clean, comfortable and convenience in Croydon!”

We stayed for 2 nights in July for a wedding in nearby Cheam. We arrived in from Gatwick by train straight into East Croydon station which was a stone's throw from the hotel. Check-in took a little while even though it was nearly 9pm, the single member of staff on front desk was friendly but a little less than competent. The room was great, a standard double, but a corner room with large windows (if you wanted to look out at the bright lights of Croydon at night). The room and bathroom were clean; the only minor complaint would be the dodgy remote for the TV which only worked when it felt like it. We paid for breakfast which was well worth it, a good selection of good quality hot food, pastries, fruit and cereals. Standard stuff but plenty of it, and there was a good constant supply of the hot food. The staff in general were very helpful, although when I tried to order a taxi to a destination just 6 miles away the receptionist had never heard of the place, and I had to show him what I wanted on a map. Having said that, the taxi came promptly and was surprisingly well priced.

“Great budget hotel”

I was very pleased with this hotel as it was conveniently situated near a large shopping centre and not too far from East Croydon train station. The room was very clean and spacious.

“Good Value, Near Transit.”

Had a good time, located across from a mall. Close to two train stations, london overground, tramlink, buses.

“Top-notch hotel!”

I led a group of 16 students and eight other adults from NJ on a tour of London and Paris and this hotel surpassed my expectations. The service was courteous, the rooms, hallways and lobby immaculate and in addition to the great breakfast, the bar/restaurant was a friendly gathering place for both adults & kids well into the night. The only drawback was its distance from London center, which required a commuter train ride of about 20 minutes or a long bus ride from Heathrow. If one had heavy suitcases (as did my wife and daughter when they joined the group separately), it required a cab ride which cost 90 pounds with the meter running!

“Deffo going back!!! worth the money!”

It's a shame we only stayed at this hotel for only 1 night. Because me and the mrs wasn't sure where to stay we played it safe and stayed at the Holiday in for 5 nights n the Jury's Inn for only 1 night! After staying in at the Jury's Inn and then going to the holiday Inn Express it felt like a dump! The Jury's Inn looked very welcoming. Alot better then the Travelodge (Next door) and the Holiday inn Express (10 min walk through the Whitgift Centre). The Breakfast was excellent - Very Helpfull staff - We stayed at the highest floor which had very good veiws of Croydon! I know Croydon like the back of my hands... And this hotel is a must to stay. Cinema..Shopping...Train station..Tram..all within 5 minutes of each other! I just regret we didn't stay there for longer! Me and the Mrs will Deffo be going back there again!!!!!!!!!!

“Great stay”

The hotel was excellent. We had some difficulties arriving there as the hotel is quite far from London Gatwick, but the staff was more than helpful. The hotel is just around the corner from the East Croydon train station which made it easy to get into London. The facility was excellent, very well maintained and the breakfast was delicious! However, it was a bit expensive (we booked last minute though), but was still more than I would have liked to have paid. We slept like babies though.

“Excellent Hotel!”

This hotel is convenient to London, has excellent amenities, and most importantly: clean air-conditioned rooms (which is a luxury in the UK!)... I've stayed at this hotel twice and received exceptional service both times. The staff is very helpful and professional, for example we were able to check out and leave our bags secured, as well as check in early for another stay. The hotel is in a great location, very convenient to Whitgift shopping center, the train station, tram lines, cinemas, and fast food like McDonalds and Starbucks. I would definitely stay there again and highly reccommend it as a GREAT alternative to staying in central London... the efficient (and relatively inexpensive) rail service will take you directly to London Victoria or London Bridge throughout the day, and late into the night. You CAN NOT get this caliber of hotel for a comperable price in London.

“Quality hotel and very friendly.”

The hotel is very central for Croydon with train station 5 mins away and shopping centre even nearer. The hotel is modern and welcoming. Staff are cheerful and friendly. Breakfast was very nice with good quality food. I would stay here again. Ask for a high floor, good views.

“Great stay and perfect for the shops etc !”

This is a fairly new hotel, but would say the experiance, comfort and accomodation is on par with more expensive hotels that I have satyed in. Very highly recommended for central croydon, parking is easy accross the road in the whitgift car park, only £8 for 24 hours and the breakfast was excellent value for money. Costa coffe shop inside, and bar and a seating area, great for meeting firends and watching some sport etc on the TV's.
