“Beautiful Country Hotel”
I travel a lot for work and pleasure and it has to be said this is one of the nicest places I've stayed. I was travelling on a budget and the cheaper rooms are still very impressive. The old world charm of the hotel gives your stay a taste of what it must have been like in yesteryear and the grounds of the hotel are absolutely stunning. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food in the restaurant is excellent. The only drawback for the very fussiest of traveller is the fact that the nearest town is a short drive away which is slight inconvenient if you're partial to a drink. However, the reason for staying at this gorgeous location is really the ambiance of true, classy country living.
“little gem in the Brecon Beacons”
This hotel is a gorgeous country home in a beautiful setting. The staff are very friendly and helpful, making our stay very comfortable and relaxing. The grounds are gorgeous and we were able to walk down by the river, taking in the beautiful area. We were also able to relax in the sun room with a good book and glass of wine. Traditional welsh breakfast in the morning was great. As with any UK hotel, the room was smaller than we had expected, but still comfortable.
