Felt our room served our needs and was comfortable but could not with some attention. Carpet presents poorly and needs to be re stretched. Decor could go with some updating but overall no complaints. Quite location

We booked through Expedia on morning of departure and got an excellent deal. Our teenagers were camping at nearby Somerford Park equestrian centre and as it was my birthday we thought we'd have a rare night away! The hotel looks lovely from the outside (I understand it is an ex mental health facility!). Our room was in the new wing but was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. It was very clean. The only small bugbear was that the walls were very thin and I could hear our neighbour coughing...
We used the pool and steam room etc which were clean and well equipped. The staff were all very polite and pleasant.
I think as we were staying on a Sunday night it was quieter than if there had been a wedding or lots of business customers.
The breakfast was great too!!
Business trip to Crewe so only wanted a clean and convenient hotel with a reputable name. Hotel was easy to fine, close to the station and what you'd expect from a Holiday Inn. Staff were friendly and eager to assist although they did direct my colleague into a bedroom that didn't exist.
We had a wonderful week-end, the Reception Staff went that extra mile to ensure that we had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable.
The food in the Restaurant was mouthwatering and surpassed all our expectation, served by very well trained staff who looked after us superbly - always with a smile.
Breakfast was another virtual feast, which we were able to enjoy at a very leisurely pace.

We enjoyed an overnight stay at this farmhouse B&B at the beginning of January. The owner (Anne) was very welcoming and friendly and really made you feel at home. There's only 4 rooms so its a small intimate place and in my opinion a much better option than a faceless chain. Our twin bedroom had everything you would expect and the added bonus of biscuits and hot chocolate with the usual tea and coffee.
Breakfast is fantastic - I believe it has won awards! - and really sets you up for the day. Highly recommended.
My family and I were on holiday in UK and needing a place to stay between London and the Lake District. We found this place online and it sounded like a good spot to stay for the night. We were not prepared for such friendly and hospitable treatment as we received from this host. He met us as soon as we checked in, provided an array of tea and breakfast items to welcome us, helped us bring in our bags, you name it. One of the nicest places we stayed during our trip to UK. We also enjoyed visiting the area (Crewe) with convenient nearby shopping and friendly people, and would love to return someday and spend longer. Thanks again!

I had to go to Crewe on business I shared the room with a friend, when I booked, the room photo showed a sofa bed but when we arrived it was a double. The reception changed the room to a twin no problem at all. I found the room a little too hot and do wish they would offer ac but I was told when we checked out we could have requested a fan. Breakfast was OK. Nicely cooked but not much choice of cooked breakfast but plenty of tea coffee and cereals to choose from. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. I lost my keys there and they were posted back to me no problem. I always choose this hotel as it is quiet and modern and convenient for my trips to Crewe
Predominantly known as a railway town, Crewe's history stems from its importance as a major junction and rail engineering base. The town is still fantastically connected and is a frequent stop for travelers heading to the Northwest of the UK. The expansive Queen's Park is a fine area for locals and visitors alike, featuring a lake with boat hire, an outdoor gym, and a golf course.
