“A new favorite, Can't wait to visit again!”

I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, style, and a very friendly, and helpful staff at a property. The beds were so comfy, and the suite very well appointed. The front desk staff was very kind and helpful at every turn. The food was plentiful and yummy. We were there from Thursday to Monday so I only had the "Welcome Reception" once on Thurday, but counted it as a big plus! The service staff was very friendly and attentive to our every needs. I give this stay a 5 out of 5 stars, and would definately pick this brand and this exact location again!

“Better Value Than the Riverfront Options”

If you're planning a family or business trip to Northern KY or Cincinnati--and esp. if you know your way around the area via 275, 471, and Dixie Hwy--this is a new gem with extremely spacious, well-appointed 2BR suites. Box stores and restaurants dot the area, but you'll likely travel to Covington or Newport for local dining. The hotel was very well-kept despite some overly relaxed staff. Small but functional gym with good dumbbells and an elliptical. Seems to be business traveler oriented during week, family groups over the weekend. Free breakfast in the modern lobby area was pretty substantial, and they apparently serve weekday beer/wine/light meals in a happy hour format M-F. Despite the "airport" name, the hotel is not really that close to CVG. It is tucked in behind a Wal-Mart, however. You'll be surprised at how quiet the site is given the Florence surroundings. We would definitely return to the 2BR as a family, and this would be my first choice if I was going to Turfway for a day at the races and had time to stay overnight.

Getting around

Avoid the 71/75 "cut in the hill" whenever possible. You can still make it to the river in about 20 minutes. Use Dixie Highway to cruise down to Covington. It will take you away from the chain stores and lead you through several miles of old/new/changing neighborhoods and lots of local color and history. Take 275E to 471S to get down to Newport. Consider driving through the lovely old neighborhoods up the hill in Fort Thomas as well as in the grid of homes behind the newly revitalized riverfront with its many attractions.

“Very, very nice!!”

My wife and I were very impressed with our room, the staff and the cleanliness of Homewood Suites. The room was huge! A "real" kitchen...a large shower with multiple jets...free wi-fi...great location. And no additional charges for anything, just tax. We *will* be back!

“Great brand new hotel”

We love dthis hotel. It is no more than a couple months old (as of Sept 2010) and is nice, new, clean, a great deal. Plus the breakfast was hot and good. We loved it and would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

“Pretty nice”

Nice hotel overall, and the breakfast was much better than your typical hotel breakfast. Sometimes the staff did not keep the tables clean during the breakfast hours so we ended up sitting at a dirty table to eat. The room was very clean as were the other hotel amenities.

“This is the only hotel we will stay at from now on when we visit Kentucky!!”

The staff was very friendly. They made sure we were offered discount coupons for the attractions that were around. The hotel was very clean. The pool was also very clean. The free breakfast had eggs made different every morning and also had the same favorites that the kids love. Free dinner was also offered while we were staying there. We are very satisfied and would highly recommend this hotel

“Great Hotel in Ohio”

This hotel chain is wonderful.. Room are so clean and nice and BIG!!! We stayed in a two bedroom suite and could not believe the size of room for the price. I would stay only in these hotels if they were everywhere we went. I will definately recommend this hotel chain to anyone and everyone!!!!

“Don't Pass This Hotel”

We made the reservation for this hotel just for a decent place close to the airport. After checking late in the evening before an early flight, we were disappointed that we had not come earlier in the day (maybe even earlier in the week!) This hotel caters to the business travel in town for a few days. Hot breakfast and weeknight dinner is included in the price of the room. The breakfast was great. This hotel far exceeded our expectations for the moderate price.

“My Hotel EVER”

Homewood Suites is a most comfortable hotel I have ever stayed, it is definately home away from hom. My Boyfriend did not want to go out of the hotel the second stay there. Very clean and the staff very friendly. Love it
