“Cheap, very nice, no pet fee”

Stayed here for one night with my wife and small dog. Room was very nice, with big bed, office space and couch. Great bathroom too. No pet fee and everything went smoothly.

“Comfortable, Classy Hotel”

We were happy with the Doubletree. Here's why: We were given complimentary chocolate chip cookies at check-in; The beds have a large cushion at the head so that you can comfortably sit up and watch TV or read; They promptly took care of a maintenance issue we had; We never heard any air traffic overhead; The hotel was really clean. The restaurant has great food, although it is a bit expensive and formal. Overall, a great experience for us.

Area recommendations

Definitely check out a river boat cruise. We took a BB River Boat cruise (based out of Newport, KY) and cruised along the Ohio River. There were great views of the city and outlying areas. If it's winter, you also have to check out Perfect North Slopes nearby. Not the largest skiing area, and the not the largest peaks you'll find, but still a pretty good ski place.

“Convenience as well as customer care!!!”

Have stayed at DoubleTrees often. They are always clean with courteous, friendly staff. This particular hotel is my favorite. I had neglected to request a fridge in room for my sister's insulin. Within 20 minutes of our explaining the problem to them, we had a cold fridge installed. This location is always kind enough to place us in a room near to their restaurants, stores, etc. The staff are very professional both in appearance and behavior, as well as efficient. I do not hesitate to recommend the DoubleTrees at any opportunity. The one at Sea-Tac airport is just as nice.

“Ultra Convenient, at a price.”

Can't fault this hotel and the location is primo if you are catching an early morning or late evening flight (directly across the road from the Terminal). The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was small but well appointed and clean, I especially loved the bed. I would have hoped for a complimentary breakfast and/or free internet access at the price, especially in this economic climate. Oh well, it gained me some pillow time!

“Very nice hotel”

The room was very clean, the service was very professional and friendly. The hotel is literally AT the airport, though a separate building. I was not disturbed by any planes, however. The room smelled like cleaning chemicals (but it was clean, so no complaints here), so if you have bad allergies, it may not be ideal. Also, they charged something like $12 for internet, which was unexpected. However, in the lobby, you could get 1 hour of free internet. The only facility I used was the pool/hot tub, which were also clean.
