Food bad, hotel noisy as tribute act was playing, but rooms were clean and comfortable.

Found the rooms far too dated. No internet in the rooms even it had been said there was. Could not get a booking the restaurant having waited for over an hour. Settled for Room service, sent it back as the food was so badly prepared and BLAND cannot describe the taste I experienced. NOW THERES THE BEDS... WOKE up the next morning covered in bites... BED BUGS I THINK, felt like sleeping on a cardboard plank with no comfort at all.

“Ideal Base for Coventry and Midlands”

Although the hotel is large, it is pleasant and quiet. It can be used for wedding parties but the two running when we were there were not a problem. The gardens are delightful and adjacent to the various bar and restaurant facilities. Car parking is plentiful and apparently very safe. There is quite some seating capacity in the different parts of the hotel. Never any sense of being cramped. It is easy to relax and escape or be anonymous. The fitness suite and pool are very good especially the pool although the other facilities could be a little busy and maybe benefit from a slightly more frequent tidy up. Excellent pool and very warm as well as the roomy sauna and steam room. The carvery restaurant is very reasonably priced and the menu good. Breakfast is excellent and delicous, all meals being taken in one of several charming dining rooms, some with garden views. The surrounding area means a car is a good idea as you are in a small village although the hotel itself is outside and not immediately in the vicinity although it actually is right next to Keresley.

the deal we were offered was really good and there was no evidence of us being treated differently to others. the breakfast was fine and not as hectic as it might have been. The room was clean and very warm -the jacuzzi bath was novel but very loud!!

Large Hotel in need of modernisation and decoration. Bathrooms very dated with coloured suites and tarnished fittings. Superior bedrooms spacious and comfortable. At busy times the quality of service and food leaves something to be desired but overall the hotel offers very good value for money especially when booked via Expedia. Royal Court Hotel Coventry UK
