“Not 4 Star”

Last time we booked a Ramada (Glasgow) they double booked us; dropping us for a rugby team. This time Ramada (Coventry) had another trick up their sleeve - despite me booking a non-smoking double room; we were told upon check-in that a smoking double or non-smoking twin was all that was available... although... if we paid a further £12 we would get upgraded to a studio. On my questioning into why they didn't have the room I had booked ... surprise surprise ... after fiddling with the computer for a couple of minutes - oh, they had the room i booked! Sneaky!! Hotel was not to average four star quality - generally run down and as a result would not stay again. The room was clean however.

“Good standard”

Clean room with good amount of space and comfortable bed. Only disappointment was there was only a shower not a bath, but it was a good big shower.

Must see
If you have an opportunity see the inside of Coventry Guildhall, it is a fantastic building.

“There is probably a better place to stay in this area”

The service in the hotel was ok if rather perfunctory but the service in the restaurant was poor - slow, making mistakes with the order, forgetting things. The room was rather cold on arrival and didn't warm up until the small hours of the morning. It was as if the heating was switched off until later in the evening.

“Englisches Hotel”

Der Empfang war nicht gerade herzlich,einen Buchstabendreher kostete mir eine halbe stunde.Fenster nicht zu öffnen Klimaanlage nicht zufriedenstellend. Auf keinen Fall wieder.Kein Kühlschrank bei 4 Sternen.

“Gute Lage”

Das Hotel hat eine relativ günstige Lage zur City. Unser Zimmer im 6. Stock war sehr sauber. Leider war es sehr hellhörig. Besonders der Fahrstuhl und die Wasserinstallation war während der Nacht sehr störend. Wir haben einmal das Frühstück probiert, und das war seinen Preis überhaupt nicht wert. Aber wenn man über diese Mängel hinwegsehen kann, ist dieses Hotel zu empfehlen.
