“I would definitely use the hotel again for a short break/overnight stay”
A great hotel for a last-minute overnight stay in Coventry. The high cost of my last-minute booking was softened by the quality of the hotel furnishings and desk service. The hotel restaurant had good quality food, but service was a little slow. Great quality bathroom facilities and a great room layout meant that I had ample space to spread out my stuff in preparation for the next day - too often there isn't enough 'work space'. I would definitely make the time to take advantage of the hotel spa and gym facilities next time.
“Good Hotel in coventry”
It was good experience at Village Coventry, Room was nice, hand wash run out from dispenser, When we complain It was replace, dispenser was not easy to operate and staff was not able to refill the dispenser, Apart from that overall service was good. Breakfast was good as well and hotel was clean.
“Great business hotel”
Staff were extremely helpful and very friendly, rooms were large, comfortable and well equipped. Bar was a little noisy (hotel was full on the evening of my stay), so I chose to eat in the Grill restaurant where the food was excellent, reasonably priced and plentiful. Outside the hotel was very well cared for with external seating areas clean & well maintained, staff from the bar were constantly keeping the outside eating area clean and tidy. I did not use the Spa as I arrived late but there were a significant number of local residents in the hotel for gym/spa use which is a good reference but could mean that the Spa could be busy for hotel guests. Slightly disappointing is the late service for breakfast - starting at 7 am. If you have an early start book for room only. All in all 'though a very good hotel, excellent location for NEC - would definitely recommend for business users.
“Great bed!”
Good quality business hotel, great bed. I few niggles, room phone didn't work and didnt get fixed during stay after reporting. Breakfast staff had a habit of either forgeting to bring you the ordered coffee or bringing you coffee but no cup/mug to drink it out of.
“The Snow Caused the Stay”
A pleasant ober night stay with attentive staff who dealt with an incident promptly and courteously. Only complaint - no black pudding at breakfast!!!
“Short notice stay”
Had to book a hotel rooom in Coventry at short notice. This came up and offered good price. Hotel perfectly satisfactory, but disappointing there was no sparkle for a still relatively new hotel - service very average and breakfast buffet was very "take it or leave it" basic choices.
