    “A comfortable stay”

    I booked the hotel as I was attending an event there. A very bland hotel, just like any other Hilton - characterless but safe. Very pleasant and efficient service though. Stupidly expensive drinks in the bar, quite ridiculous for an ordinary business hotel. Nice swimming pool with excellent opening hours for those on business.

    “A Car is a must”

    Over all so so, and it is far from the city center so you should have car as the nearest bus station is far!

    “Convenient with excellent service”

    We spent two weeks in this hotel. The staff is extraordinariy helpful and friendly. Our room was adequate, though we could have used air conditioning on a couple of nights! The restaurant is overpriced, but at least we had breakfast included, and it was excellent!

    The cathedral is fabulous! It's really the best thing about Coventry, although the area surrounding the city is beautiful.

    “very stuffy”

    no ventilation. the small window could have been opened just for an inch. that's all you have!!!!!!!!!!!! so, if you don't need oxygen - you are lucky person. all the rest - just excellent

    “Wonderful Place To Stay”

    There are lots of good points Location: Safe & Peaceful Staff: Friendly & helpful Lobby: Clean, spaceous, tidy & decorated Food: Good quality Luggage storage: Good service Fitness centre: I did not use (time did not permit) Overall a very nice experinece This is my favourite hotel

    “Ideal for Coventry”

    This hotel is just off the M6 and well placed for visiting Coventry. The rooms are comfortable and clean. We found the staff very helpful and friendly. Perhaps our only quibble is that the gym area is not quite up to the same standard as the rest of the hotel. The breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent - and very good value. We would definitely use this hotel again.

    Coventry Cathedral is beautiful and peaceful. It is surrounded by other ancient buildings and churches. The excellent Herbert Museum and the Transport Museum are close by as are many shopping areas. Parking nearby was easy and not expensive. Once you have parked up there is plenty to see and do in the central area around the cathedral.
    Must see
    Coventry Cathedral - built alongside the remains of the old Cathedral destroyed in the blitz. Nearby, Holy Trinity Church has the 15th century Doom Painting.

    “Great service, extremely helpful”

    My family and I spent two nights at the Hilton, Coventry. Everything was great, service, breakfast, staff of bar and reception very helpful not quite so welcoming in the restaurant.. 3 rooms booked in the January sale so half price, my room was great, king size bed for one, however, my two daughters had a lot of room noise sounded like work being carried out overhead.. Reception advised should not be anyone working but room was upgraded without any problem other daughter did not request the change and came to regret it.. Clearly there was working going on it seems a shame that as they had extra rooms available this wasnt already done as a matter of course.

    “Staying at the Hilton?”

    Stayed at this hotel with my husband on a liesure trip. We were checked in by a young girl who was pleasant enough but although she wasn't supervised, we did wonder if she was still in training. No information about our stay at the hotel was offered and we even had to ask which direction to go to get to our room. The hotel and lobby were pleasantly decorated but we got a shock when we entered our room. We have stayed at many Hilton hotels in the past and expect the added luxury which goes with the name. Our room was poorly lit even when the lights were on. I often choose this hotel brand for working holidays at weekends. I was grateful that this was a leisure trip as the desk area was very small and cramped. The wooden fittings were old and worn and added to the dark, gloomy atmosphere. At breakfast I had to return my cup twice as my cup and its replacement were both dirty. No apology was given and I had to wait so long for a replacement the second time that I took my own from an adjoining table. All in all not a pleasant stay and I will definitely not stay here again on my return to Coventry.

    “Amazing value for miney”

    Stayed overnight before a visit to an NEC exhibition. Very comfortable, clean, quiet, good food and drink, friendly staff. And I'm hard to please because I stay away on business all the time.

    Traveller's tip
    Hotel close to M6 junction so very easy to find. There are also entertainments (cinema and restaurant close by. Only 15-20 minutes from NEC. Fantastic price on expedia.
