“Very nice and comfortable”

The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The whole hotel had a modern design to it so it made it look nice and well maintained...would definitely stay here again.

“Was worried but pleasantly surprised!!!”

After reading the previous reviews I was worried about this hotel, but was pleasantly surprised. The front desk was very polite and professional. Breakfast was fully restocked every 10 minutes. The lobby is super cute and there were plenty of towels in the pool area. I would stay there again!!!

“Good choice”

This was a good choice of hotel to stay at. We would stay again. The breakfast offered even had a couple of different choices that were good and not your typical "hotel breakfast."

“Never got a working room key”

Room was great but never received a working room key, the key we received worked on the outside doors but not on the room door. Breakfast was great. We were grateful to have a place to rest after a 950 mile travel day overland from SLC.

Area recommendations
We visited the historic Kanesville Tabernacle which has significant personal significance to our family. Much better place to stay than Omaha, rates are more reasonable.
Must see
In the Kanesville Tabernacle, built by 200 pioneers in just two-and-a-half weeks, Brigham Young was sustained as the second prophet and president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The present log tabernacle is an authentic replica. After the death of the Prophet Joseph Smith in 1844, the Church had been led for three-and-a-half years by the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, under the direction of Brigham Young. Brigham Young and the other Apostles had the difficult task of leading a scattered people to safety in what is now Utah. Because many of the Latter-day Saints needed time to prepare themselves for the trek, they settled in towns such as Winter Quarters and Kanesville in the Middle Missouri Valley. On the clear, cold morning of Monday, 27 December 1847, over a 1,000 men and women crowded into the tabernacle to participate in one of the most significant days in the history of the Church. For the first time since the Church was organized, its members sustained a new First Presidency. The tabernacle also serves as a visitors' center, where you can learn more about the epic history of the Latter-day Saints migration westward. Between 1846 and 1890, over 100,000 saints outfitted for the West in Kanesville and neighboring Florence, Nebraska (previously Winter Quarters) and were a vital part of this nation's westward development.

“Home away from home.”

“Fairfield Inn Council Bluffs”

Hotel staff were very friendly when we arrived. We were a bit dissapointed because the pool had just been filled and was cold and our little girl wanted to swim, but it was warm by that evening.
