Holidaying as a couple, we wanted a smaller hotel in Fuertaventura and not one of the massive holiday complex hotels on the resorts.
I knew it would be good from the photos on the website and previous reviews and we were more than happy with choice. Much more!
We got a lovely surprise with i would say a more 5 star room than you would find in the big hotels, spacious, high ceilings, peaceful, individual, and a spa bath! (sadly too windy that week to use the hotels pool or sun loungers.)
It was a calm and peaceful stay and the hotel staff were really lovely; friendly and welcoming giving a very personal feel to the stay (oh... and lots of fun spanish lessons! Thank you Carla!)
Breakfast buffet was perfect and the evening restaurant meals were great, again with unfussy friendly serving.
The owner made us a special dinner one night too and the restaurant was popular with locals too..always a good sign.
We went on to the south of the island after this stay..Completely different and a hotel/culture shock almost.. staying in one of the mega cattle-market hotels on the beach.... admittedly it was nice in its different way and got some sunbathing in plus we wanted to see the south too, but in retrospect maybe we should have stayed at The Casa Vieja all week!
if we come back to Fuerta one day we will certainly be going back there!
What an amazing place. So close to the main area of corralejo. The staff are so helpful. Air conditioning works perfect and it was kept super clean all week. The pool and bar are great. Would highly reccomend to everyone who is looking for comfort and closeness to amenities...

"Clean and Friendly resort - The pictures don't do it justice"
This was the first time that Id tried both Fuerteventura and an All Inclusive resort. Not only were we impressed by the cleanliness of the room and its surrounding but the food was pretty good too. Alright, so if you were sat in a restaurant and the same food came out then youd have reason to be a little disappointed but when theres so much variety on offer, I really cannot say a bad word about it. The rooms were clean and the bar service was always available with food also available for almost 14 hrs in a day. The only disappointment about the resort as a whole was the evening entertainment. Too much of the entertainment was In House and seemingly unrehearsed. This might be down to it being early season (March) but I would have liked to have seen a finished article. Theres a supermarket across the road and shops a plenty less than 1km away next to the beach. The resort runs a daily bus down to the long stretch of beach for only a couple of Euros which is well worth doing if youre a sun-worshiper too. All in all, wed go back tomorrow.

The location of this hotel is the best, in the one direction you are a minutes walk to the beach which has plenty of cafes and bars for refreshments and food and then in the other direction literally around the corner you are on the main strip with shops, cafes, bars, restaurants and entertainment. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The room that we had was basic but had everything you needed and was clean which is the most important thing. There was a good selection of food and the breakfast was very good catering for all nationalities. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family
Corralejo is in my opinion the best overall place to stay in FV. It is a nice size town; has beaches and seafront galore. Interesting old stuff and character - and a lived in town with real people as well as tourists in equal measure. The hotel is perfectly located; 100 meters to the beach and then a 15 minute stroll along the beach and boardwalk to the quaint old port and various cafes etc along the way. The other way it is 200 meters to the shopping strip. And all the while just in the suburbs enough to be quiet, and easily accesible to the road system to shoot out in your hire car to explore elsewhere.
