“TERRIFIC STAFF”

We read reviews on Trip Advisor which slightly concerned us. But, when we stayed at Hotel Stefania, we felt most of these were unjust. True, the hotel is in a quiet situation but it isn't inaccessible. It is a low-rise, attractive beach hotel with reasonable transport links and ideal for anyone who has hired a car (plenty of parking). It's only 10 minutes drive from the airport. We loved the well-stocked gardens, the comfortable accommodation, and general cleanliness and can't praise all the - mainly multi-lingual - staff highly enough. The guests come from all parts of the world - Europe, Australia, USA and South America, which was interesting. Although the breakfast is dubbed 'continental' there is plenty of choice - although no toast. I'm sure it would be available on request, as is a full cooked breakfast, which my husband ordered one day. The breakfast room overlooks the pool and beach, and lunch is available there, too. My one criticism is the smart restaurant where dinner is served. Everything looks great & the waiters are highly professional - but I hated the food, both on the daily menu and on the a la carte menu. On several nights, there was nothing at all that I liked and I dined on omelettes and tomato salads (which were fine but boring). If restaurant dinners improve, then I really think that Hotekl Stefania would be hard to beat.

Area recommendations
Olbia has a great market on a Saturday morning. We found an excellent, quality jewellery stall; one selling nutty nougat; another selling gorgeous denim and lace women's clothing (not cheap)! Mama Beach is a good restaurant at the beach at Pittulongu. We loved their pizzas. Porto Rotundo is gorgeous and only a 20 minute drive from Olbia. Lots of very expensive boats in the harbour and little alleys and squares with smart shops, restaurants and pathways through leafy parks. I wish I could remember the name of the cafe with pretty pink decor in a piazza overlooking the harbour. We had a lovely lunch there...and the loos were terrific! We were in Sardinia at the start of June and I think that is probably a good time to go. The flowers are all blooming and the bougainvillia alone is worth seeing.

“2 turisti di roma”

Hotel consigliato, personale cordiale e disponibile. Ottimo il ristorante Nino's. Comodissima la vicinanza al mare. CONSIGLIATISSIMO!!!!!!

“Hotel agréable”

Hotel légèrement surclassé en tant que 4 * - prestations correctes - petit déjeuner de bonne qualité- qualité menu irrégulière- l'annexe "villa Stéfania" est en décalage de qualité / la structure de base - bonne situation / mer et à la plage - voiture indispensable pour découvrir les environs

“Viaggio in Costa Smeralda”

Ottimo il servizio e la disponibilità del personale. Struttura non modernissima, ma ampi spazi e buona pulizia. Spiaggia vicino. Consiglio questo hotel.

“Vom Flughafen in 15 Minuten zu erreichen”

Besonders hat uns das freundliche und aufmerksame Personal beeindruckt, wir hatten Halbpension gebucht und das Essen war sehr zufriedenstellend. Auch die Lage des Hotels war für uns ideal, vom Flughafen in 15 Minuten zu erreichen, wenige Kilometer von Olbia und Golfo d´Aranci entfernt. Zu den herrlichen Stränden im Süden von Olbia oder zur Costa Smeralda fährt man maximal eine halbe Stunde. Zum hoteleigenen Strand sind es wenige Meter zu Fuß auf einem wenig befahrenen Zubringerstäßchen. Die Zimmer sind sehr unterschiedlich groß und auch sehr unterschiedlich vom Geräuschpegel her. Eine Landstraße, die sich in der Nähe befindet, stört den Schlaf bei offenem Fenster in einigen Zimmern. Die Zimmer, in dem der Straße abgewandten Teil des Gebäudes hingegen, sind sehr geräuscharm. Auch die Ausstattung ist nicht in jedem Zimmer dieselbe, Haartrockner und Fernseher sind in allen Zimmern, ein Safe jedoch nur in manchen. Im Allgemeinen waren wir sehr zufrieden, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hätte nicht besser sein können, allerdings waren wir in der 1. Oktoberwoche dort und das Hotel war nicht ausgebucht.

Area recommendations
Die Strände Banana, ganz in der Nähe des Hotels und Brandinchi, eine halbe Stunde südlich, waren einfach herrlich. Wir hatten einen Mietwagen und sind nach Sassari, Castelsardo, Sta. Teresa di Gallura, Palau, Costa Smeralda und Golfo d´Aranci gefahren. Sehenswürdigkeiten gibt es überall, die Landschaft und die Stände sind beeindruckend.

“Hotel Stefania a Pittulongu- posizione comoda e servizi e cordialità ottimi”

A poche decine di minuti dai porti di Olbia e Golfo Aranci e ottimo punto di partenza per visitare le spiagge della Costa Smeralda. Hotel vicino alla spiaggia con ombrelloni e lettini solo per i clienti dell'hotel. Camera molto pulita e vivibile. Staff dell'hotel molto cordiale, disponibile e gentile. Nota di merito particolare al ristorante Nino, annesso all'hotel, dove sia per la qualità e la varietà delle pietanze che per la professionalità, cordialità e simpatia di Nino e del suo staff fanno ancora apprezzare maggiormente il soggiorno. Consigliato vivamente

“Hotel Stefania - Olbia - per una vacanza rilassante in Sardegna fuori dalla mondanità”

Hotel Stefania - Olbia: Hotel confortevole, ristorante Nino's per la mezza pensione veramente di ottimo livello. Consigliabile anche per il rapporto qualità/prezzo. Consigliata l'auto per i collegamenti con la Costa Smeralda essendo quelli pubblici praticamente inesistenti. L'hoel consente una vacanza di relax adatta a famiglie.
