“expensive and poor service”
After spending a week traveling around Sardinia and staying at 2 other hotels, this hotel was the most disappointing. It has a beautiful view and pool, howver, when we were there, a wedding had been booked for that night (they never warned of this until we arrived). Therefore, the pool was closed early. We were dissapointed in the size of our room (small) and its view of the parking lot. We asked the desk if we could get a room with a view but the hotel was full and we had only booked a standard room. With the wedding, it was probbaly a good thing that we did not have a room with a view because we would have been kept up all night by the wedding. Everwhere we travelled in Sardinia the staff were friendly and willing to share advice and tips--except at Hotel Petra Bianca. We asked one of the staff members if he could give us the name of any good local hotels. He said that he could not because the last time he did, the hotel desk staff found out and he got in trouble. There was wi-fi but it was not free. There was an African man in his 20s or 30s who was the bell hop. The reception staff told us that she will have the "boy" get our luggage. The beach was beautiful and they did have a free shuttle that left every half hour except around lunch time when there was a large break. The driver was punctual and this meant that he left with or without you at the scheduled time.
“A classy hotel”
The hotel is very classy wthout being pretentious. The staff are corteous and nothing is too much trouble. The food is excellent and varied but as you may expect wine is expensive but of good quality. The views from the hotel are brilliant and the pool and grounds are made for total relaxation. There is a regular free shuttle bus service to the private beach of Liscia Ruja. Everything about the hotel says class! The location is excellent for trips to Porto Cervo, Porto Rotondo and other Costa Smeralda resorts and beaches.
“Ottima scelta ma la spiaggia è scomoda”
Ottimo hotel, pulito e ben organizzato. Vista mozzafiato su cala di Volpe. basta quella per star sereni! La zona piscina ha una vista idilliaca, a volte la musica è un pò alta ma si gode davvero il massimo relax. Tutti i servizi sono al top, i dettagli sono molto curati e in particolare ci ha colpiti la squisita gentilezza di tutto lo staff, quasi maniacale. Discreta la colazione, abbastanza varia. Buono il ristorante anche se lo abbiamo provato solo una volta. Se dobbiamo trovare proprio un difetto direi che sia la spiaggia un pò lontana: sono quasi 2 Km. in parte di strada sterrata, il servizio in navetta è efficiente ma il bus è piccolo e spesso si rimane a piedi. una struttura di questo livello dovrebbe anche avere una copertura per garantire un pò d'ombra nel parcheggio: alla sera entrare in auto è un bel problema!
