“New hotel - food excellent, rooms nicely laid out and spacious”

Stayed 5th Sept until 14th Sept 2008 - Couple aged 48-52. New hotel rooms nicely laid out and spacious. Staff excellent, especially front of house. Waiters all very professional and friendly, brush up on your Italian before you go though. Food in restaurant was excellent with good choice. Opt for the set menu/half board or full board option to take advantage of this. Pool was extremely large, and staff at pool bar excellent also. There were a few teething problems with pool from beginning of Sept which was sorted a few days later. Hotel was quiet as still so new. Hotel beach nice, own sunbeds/umbrellas a nice touch. Would recommend as an extremely comfortable base to explore Sardinia's east coast. We would like to go back to see how the place is faring in a few years time,if only for the pool which is very impressive.

“I Corbezzoli”

What a fantastic hotel - spacious and friendly - we ate ourselves to a stand-still with the lovely buffet breakfasts and evening meals. A bonus was the very large swimmimg pool (not busy for most of thime we were there) and the beach with umbrella and sunbeds all included in the price. Go there!!!

“New Hotel, new experience.”

Spent 5 nights at I Corbezzoli in late July 2008. The Hotel has been open about a month and it shows. Everywhere is clean, tidy and fresh. The accomadation is in 3 seperate buildings, 2 single storey and one double storey building. The main building, where we stayed, is built into a bank of earth which keeps the room very cool, (30 degree heat and we hardly used the air-con). Rooms are large with a large bathroom and the best shower we've had in the many hotels we've stayed at,(but no bath). There are wooden shutters and patio doors, both lockable, though the wooden shutters are double locked so be warned. We stayed half board, and the cold buffet breakfast is adequate if you arrive before 09.00 hours. Dinner is 30 euros if not half board, and is amazing! A 4 course dinner with a fish, pasta, meat and sweet course. The menu is available in English if you ask. The pool is approximately 200m from the main building, is about 40m square and empty most of the time we were there (no problems finding a sun-bed here). Most of the guests who stayed at the hotel prefered to go to the hotels private area on the beach, complete with sun-beds. The beach can be quite busy and noisy with people trying to sell you clothes etc., but don't bother you if you tell them "no." This hotel is a gem, tucked away in a quite area, but it wont stay quiet for long once the secret gets out!

“a great place to stay”

Just returned from a week staying half board at this wonderful brand new hotel. We couldn't fault it at all. Everything from the friendliness of the staff to the quality and selecton of the food at meal times was superb. The accommodation is either staying in the main hotel block or little bungalows with terraces which is what we stayed in - all finished to a high quality, the bathroom has a great shower with a huge shower head too!! The swimming pool area is approx a 2 minute walk away or the hotel provides a shuttle bus if you prefer, it overlooks the sea and is kept immaculate with a poolside bar serving snacks. It really was a pleasure to stay at this hotel and would definitely stay again.

“Lovely hotel and friendly staff”

a lovely hotel with good service, facilities good and pool large and very quiet with plenty of sun beds. hotel would benefit from a comfortable area to sit prior to dinner or after dinner, weather mixed when we visited so no real communal area to sit or get a coffee so the mini bar came in very handy, better access to the harbour area would be useful as we did not hire a car and the walk is quite far along the roads in the dark.
