“Modern, friendly, great location for restaurants, shops but tricky to find & only street parking”
Olbia & this hotel were both charming & worth the visit. We were just a short walk to the main street for cafes, gelaterias & the highly recommended (& delicious) Garrulia (sp) restaurant. Street parking was no problem, always got a spot right out front, we had to pay 1 euro for a total of 24 hours internet (on a stop start basis we only used 7 in 3 days), the breakfast was typical of Italy, cereals, fruit, creamy yoghurt (not the thin junket style of Spain), pastries, rolls, toast & condiments plus ham, cheese etc. Delicious coffee to order... espresso, cappuccino & refills if you asked. At happy hour the bar provided snacks but we always went out so the bartender loked pretty lonely..
No pool but in Olbia there's really not much land left for pools & the handy location was a better trade off we thought. Great staging point for the beautiful Costa Smeralda, Porto Cervo & Baia Sardinia etc
