“"would go back again"”
Whilst the location made us a little apprehensive (an industrial area), it was completely forgotten on arrival as the hotel is surrounded by woodland and trees and could be anywhere. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel was spacious from the foyer to the bedrooms. Our bedroom was large with a huge bed, settee, table and chairs, television(limited channels) and a mini bar which you could use for your own drinks. The bathroom had a bath with shower, shower room, separate toilet and twin wash hand basins. The pool was large with a swim up bar and eating area. Sun loungers were comfortable with mattressess and in the main daytime were plentiful, however, around 4pm when the beach people(most seemed to head there in the day) returned they became sparse. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to and from the beach. Car parking was underground with plenty space and lift access to the reception. Breakfast was buffet style and very good from continental to full English
“My wife said nicest hotel she had stayed in”
Concierge very friendly and helpful (we asked for lots of advice). Breakfast was the only meal we had at the hotel, but I have never had better. Rooms were lovely with nice big bathroom spotlessly clean.
“watch out for some extras”
The Fitness centre is not free, it's 5 Euro's per visit. It is great though and I got in there as often as possible. The Outdoor pool is lovely, but not heated. Like, it's really cold. The indoor pool is not free and closes quite a bit. The Bar at the pool is poorly stocked and outrageously expensive. 5 euros for a diet coke? you have to be kidding. 5 euros for some horrendous biscuit covered ice cream...not funny. The Car park is really not much fun. I really do consider myself a top driver but the blur of red and white in all three mirrors was enough to make me stop and get out at least once. I'd hate to see that in the high season. There is a lovely pizzeria near the fitness centre which is far more reasonable and again,. the food and service are superb. The Hotel and staff are really great though and were very helpful at all times, could not fault it. The rooms are also superb and well looked after. Leave the mini bar well alone...buy your own water and drinks at a supermarket. A car is absolutley essential in my opinion (apart from the Car Park!) Local drivers are quite interesting but no worse than anywhere else in Europe/UK, but it gives you access to some of the most beautiful beaches and views I've seen ever. Without doubt I'd go again if I wanted a relaxing break, but I very much hope that the GBP/EUR Excahange rate goes back to it's 2005 levels and quickly!
“very good hotel”
fanastic pool and room
“excellent value would return”
It is a business hotel in a resort type setting. A car is a must since the hotel is in an industrial area
“Good for short stay”
We stayed here for 2 nights without car and it was fine. Any longer stays would definitely need a car as it is quite isolated. Breakfast was excellent, evening meals not very much choice if you didn't eat in the a la carte restaurant. As we had a young child we resorted to bar food which was quite unpleasant! Also the drinks are extremely expensive so if you can buy water at the supermarket it will save you lots of euros! Overall a good quality hotel with a nice pool.
“I would go back”
a very good hotel with a lovely pool. Food a little on the expensive side & hotel a little out of the way for night life. But overall a thoroughly good time.
“anonimo”

Heel onhandig.

Olbia, Italy: The Costa Smeraldas main arrival point, Olbia is one of Sardinias oldest towns, although much of it is now modern and sprawling. But the cobbled lanes in the old part of town around the Corso Umberto are full of good restaurants and some pretty piazzas to linger in over a drink. Olbias only real monument is the granite Romanesque church San Simplicio. Nearby are the prehistoric Nuraghi sites around Arzachena.
