“Great hotel for Americans traveling to Sitges”
Living in San Francisco, and having never been to Spain before, I went to Sitges with my wife to attend a scientific conference taking place at a fancier hotel (Melia Sitges). Rather than stay at Melia, which is a little isolated (or "foofie" IMO), we stayed at Sitges Park which is in the middle of the downtown area. It's a 5 minute walk from the train station, beach, etc.. We were extremely happy with Sitges Park. The people were very friendly, the room was clean, we loved the swimming pool area. Breakfast (and !!!) dinner buffets were complementary, and the food was great. The only meal of the day we actually paid for was lunch. Drinks at the pool and dinner drinks were not included, of course, but were not outrageously priced either. (under 3 euro for a half liter of Estrella Damm beer). Most of the other guests at the hotel were German or British, and were all friendly. Sitting by the pool area, drinking beer, was a great way to end each day. There are great coffee/pastry shops, bars, etc, all within 30 seconds of walking outside the front door. We felt very safe walking around Sitges, and the area around the hotel, even late at night. For anyone attending a conference at Melia Sitges, who wants a little bit more of the downtown flare, I'd recommend Sitges Park instead. SP is about a 15 minute walk to Melia. Only complaint: as with a lot of hotels that advertise wireless internet, it didn't work in our room but only at the swimming pool area.

the hotel was basic but ok food very poor, rooms getting dated location excellent if your only sleeping in the hotel then the location is all you need
“Einfaches Hotel im Herzen von Sitges”
Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist OK. Man bekommt für den Preis natürlich kein 4-Sterne Essen und keine entsprechende Hotelausstattung. Insgesamt ist das Hotel etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Wir haben uns aber trotzdem sehr Wohl gefühlt. Die zentrale Lage ist super. Für Sitges typisch, muss man im Hotel mit vielen schwulen Gästen rechnen.
“Nett, preisgünstig und schön”
Es war unser achter Aufenthalt hier. Die Zimmer im rückwärtigen Gebäudeteil sind renoviert worden und haben nun Fliesen statt Teppich. Der Innenhof ist nach wie vor ein Traum. Das Personal war wieder sehr freundlich und hatte alle Sonderwünsche erfüllt. Toll.
