Decent hotel close to beach
Hotel is nice as restored recently.. However needs a bit improvement on daily room cleaning. Sometimes towels are not exchanged even if we left them on the floor in bathroom. Glasses were not washed. Bad smell in room after cleaning as staff turns off aircon. 3rd sofa bed was not ready on our arrival. We had to figure out how to set it up. We really enjoyed to have a drink and snack in Arena tapas bar.

I made 2 reservations. One, for 1 night for my wife and I. The second one for my wife kind and I a day later. My mother arrived with my kid in the 2nd day. She was waiting for me with my kid and luggage at the hotel restaurant. I met them to collect his luggage. As I attempted to go and drop off the luggage and cut through the empty hotel restaurant into the lobby. I was screamed at that I could not walk through the lobby and I had to exit the hotel and walk all the way around and enter through their main entrance. All of this because the hotel manager does Not like seeing people walk with luggage when he is eating with his family. Our room smelled like sewer. I asked about it and there was no solution. Overall the communication and service is slow, and always with the answer that is the way we do things. I would never recommend anyone to stay here. Terrible service for the clientele.

In a great location with spacious rooms. However, it was not ideal that they had the AC turned off centrally and we weren’t able to control it in our own rooms, this made night times a bit uncomfortable and humid even with the balcony door open. Also the tv in our room did not work which was unfortunate and the room only had a coffee machine no tea and the mini bar only had water. Overall, a good hotel and with a few changes it would be perfect. The staff were lovely and accommodating.

Lovely spacious rooms however, all they all seem to be classed as suites so don't get too excited. Buffet breakfast has something for everyone. Tapas is great in the Arena and also at the pool.

Nice Facility, Difficult Reception
The rooms were beautiful and very clean, the pool was pristine, the property was quiet and very family friendly, and the breakfast was very good. However, the reception desk was quite disorganized and difficult to work with. We asked for late checkout and were told twice to ask the day of checkout, then when we asked the day of checkout, we were told that they needed 24 hours prior notice. In the end they gave it to us, but it seemed the internal communication was nonexistent. We also ordered room service and it took almost two hours and multiple calls. Even so, I would go back. The location of the property was perfect, and the experience was nice. I just hope they can improve the reception desk and the efficiency of communication.

GREAT SUMMER BREAK
THIS IS GREAT HOTEL 100 YARDS FROM THE BEACH SO NO PROBLEM IF YOU NEED TO WERE A MASK.YOU NEED A PASS TO OPEN THE DOORS TO GET IN THE HOTEL. WHICH IS GREAT. ITS SO CLEAN.BREAKFAST IS FAB. ONLY 15MINS IN A CAB FROM THE AIRPORT.

The hotel has been recently refurbished to a very high standard. The beach theme is fresh and the location was superb . Highly recommend this hotel for families

Hotel was opposite the beach and 5 mins walk to the bars and shops... We stayed in the Mediterranean suite with a pool view and the balcony was huge. I would highly recommend paying the extra money as All these rooms have been refurbished and more spacious than others... The hotel was spotless, the staff super friendly. We just has breakfast included in our stay and it was great, something for everyone... I would never stay in another hotel in salou again. I cannot wait for my next visit.

We liked the location however the fridge door did not shut properly, the sink tap was loose and there was no bath. The shower had no water pressure. Also, it was very challenging to gauge the temperature of the shower.

Great location. Front desk people are very helpful. Be prepared that in Spain there is no rush like in America! Close to beach and promenade street. Pool water is cold. Nice guest. Good breakfast.

Fantastic!
It was the best hotel I stayed so far! Can't even express how I enjoyed this stay! Massive room, amazing pool , great spa, friendly breakfast team and good choice of the food. One improvement needed... Reception staff slow and not very committed to them job but overall place no.1 in Salou😍😍😍

Good position, clean, tidy, good decor. Really nice pool area, pool side bar very good. Check in seemed to take a long time compared to other hotels, maybe just a bad day! Only real issue was the access to our balcony which could only be done through the bedroom, the doors from the lounge area were permanently locked, no real explanation from reception (heard others complaining), just an inconvenience if one of us was having a lie in :-)

Administrative process is slow!
We booked 2 rooms at the hotel. One room was cancelled before expiry of free cancellation period. Room was charged. However after 2 calls from Hotels.com the hotel still did not process refund. They claimed no cancellation notice was received and that they have to verify that credit card was actually charges. The cancellation was made 9 working days ago! The other room was taken up and we would rate it acceptable.

Quiet hotel, no atmosphere , probably as we went October, food choice not great, mainly catered for German clients, pool area ok but no sun umbrellas , if it had been hot would not of been able to enjoy the sun and the pool was freezing, rooms were nice and big, no kettle or microwave in little kitchenette , although think u could hire kettle which I thought was bit much, overall good hotel but probably wouldn't stay again.

A pleasant trip, recommend for a short holiday
We stayed at the Blaumar hotel as a couple for 5 nights. Following previous experiences in other resorts we were pleasantly surprised by the comfort and service st this hotel. The room was a pool view of a good size with a lovely large balcony. A small kitchenette if you wanted to meal prep yourself for lunch. We went half board and the quality of food was very reasonable. Lots of selection at breakfast for cooked or cold food as well as breads and pastries. Theme nights meant dinner was also varied night to night and there was generally enough choice for both of us to be happily satisfied. The pool area was clean and pleasant and quite quiet at this time of year (September). The bar staff were friendly. We made use of the free albeit small gym with a running and cycling machine and bench with weights 1-10kg. The local area was really nice a beach a minute walk away, restaurants and bars in 5-15 mins walk. Overall we were very happy with the hotel and would recommend it for a reasonably priced short trip for couples.

Great hotel next to the beach
We had just finished a day at port aventura and drove to this hotel. The rooms are nice, we had a king bed and our 2 kids shared the pull out in the family room. There is not a tv in the bedroom as it is in the family room. As we went to dinner, they sent someone up to our room to make the sofa bed and pull out the trundle bed and make the beds. We ate down the street about a block and went to the beach across the street from the hotel. We really loved our stay here and did not use the small “kitchen” but thought it was nice to have it Incase. The shower was also very nice as it had a rain Setting and went pretty hot. Overall everyone really liked the the hotel and we would stay there again if we ever come thru here again.

Good location
Very good location, literally 50m to the beach and within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops etc. Staff were friendly and helpful. Can recommend the pool bar for beer and sangria ;-)
