The Arches - Elegant, contemporary restaurant with a unique menu and famed wine cellar.

Les Jardins - The main hotel restaurant, located on the ground floor with views of the garden and pool. Offers daily breakfast buffet and dinner in a traditional Maltese-style setting of soft colors and stone. Open for breakfast from 7:00 - 10:00 AM and dinner from 6:30 - 9 PM (9:30 PM on Friday and Saturday).

“Stay by the SEA!”

Apartment had all the comforts of home. English TV station a plus. Management provided a little kitchen pack with towel, sponge and dish soap. I have stayed in a lot of apartment like vacation spots - that was time I have received a gift like that; it was a nice touch. The beach area and the restaurants were great and the train into Barcelona was perfect!

Beach. Take the train into Barcelona - it is inexpensive and takes you along the edge of the Sea!

“Will use this hotel again”

Good location close to beach and town, 10 mins from train station by taxi. Hotel is clean and room service carried out every day. Buffet breakfast was continental style and was sufficient for our needs. We were visiting friends and hotel was perfect for what we wanted. Nice beach area here so would consider a longer break.

“Great hotel on the beach”

Had a great 2 night stay in Vilanova. We thought we would be close to Sitges (it was about a 10 minute cab ride there) but this was a nice beach town without too many tourists. There were lots of restaurants within a 5-15 minute walk down the street. Also close to the Rambla where there were quite a few stores.

“Off-season bliss”

The Atenea Park in Vilanova is perfectly located for a get-away break. Half an hour from the airport and located opposite the beach. Within easy stroll of a large selection of restaurants and the ramblas. A word of warning: off-season means that the pool at the Atenea is closed, there are no lifeguards on the beach and a lot of construction work is underway mainly at the other end of town away from the hotel zone.

“Beach & Barcelona”

The apartment was as we expected - clean and tidy. Nice to have a seperate bedroom. Kitchen facilities were not extensive (only had a frying pan so you couldn't even boil water) although we didn't try to cook. Great location for the beach/town. We booked this hotel so we could have some time on the beach and some time in Barcelona - it was really easy to get to Barcelona on the train.

“Escape from the noise of Barca”

If your looking to visit Barca but don't really enjoy big city noise then try going South to Vilanova, and stay at the Atenea Park-Suites Apartments. In a location near to the beach and the town city and the trainline to Barca and the Airport (change at El Prat). The apartments are truely good and the little restaurat is great value too!

“Ideal base for touring”

Great rooms. Well equipped for self catering, but no kettle or tea/coffee. Walking distance of the town. Unfortunately the pool was closed when we were there.

“Excellent standard for the Cost”

We were immediately impressed on arrival by the informal but efficient staff and by the exceptional cleanliness of the rooms and grounds of the hotel and also the beach and streets of Vilanova. All our requirements were met promptly without any over interference. As seems to be the norm with self catering apartments, there is a minimum of equipment and here a kettle and a microwave would have been helpful. They obviously do not expect guests to undertake much advanced cooking and the very sensitive smoke alarms are linked to reception which meant we received a few concerned phone calls but it is better to be safe than sorry. Our main (but minor) criticisms were the absence of any English newspapers (French and German were supplied) and limited Enlgish language TV channels, and also the lack of a focal point by way of a cheerful and popular bar in the hotel. The local bars and restaurants were however very friendly, especially if you make the effort to speak in Spanish. The resort seems particularly popular with Spanish holidaymakers.

“Good stuff”

I spent a few days in August in this Hotel and honestly it was better than the 5 stars one I've been over the previous week of my staying. Mainly Spanish families, some Dutch, Portuguese and Italian ones,a few Brits, no chavs showing off their shame and good value for money. Beach just a little walk away and a good swimming pool.Rooms are quite spacious, kitchen tools provided and cleaned daily. I just didn't like the bed and the aircon is to weak for South of Spain August weather. The reception people and general staff are absolutely amazing and polite.

Traveller's tip

The hotel restaurant is really great and cheap. 2 main courses in chosen from a great menu, a bottle of wine or water, bread and desert for only 16 euros. If you fancy to go to the promenade area, an amazing variety of food at good prices, and tasty as heaven give a visit to D'Lux tapas. If you got time and a meaning to, have a go at Saint Roc la Galleta...a little village amid rooftops and with a great beach. Have a good holiday. Cheers.
