“Girona salles airport hotel”

It was a very beautiful surprise when we entered the room. The room was outstanding, with black, white and red furnishings and with all the comforts you associate with a more expensive hotel. Loved the location. We just spent the night cause we had to catch an early flight, but girona city was within a short driving distance and we were practically on the runway which is great when you have an early flight. They also offer an express breakfast for those who have an early flights. The only disappointment that i have is that we stayed only for a night. Well done.

“Convenient Airport hotel”

The room was nice, comfortable nothing amiss. We were in a non smoking room which didn't smell of smoke at all (although I did witness another guest at check-out complaining about smoking smells in a non-smoking). The Hotels pool and Spa facilities were surprisingly nice. There is both an outdoor pool and a heated indoor spa which was an unexpected delight. We stayed for one night, before a morning flight. The hotel offer a free shuttle to the airport ( it required making a booking the night before). And the bus from the central train station in Girona stops at the hotel if you request it (service run by bus Barcelona) Our one and only problem was the food. The Buffet was not really that great. very poor vegetarian options (just bread and veg) . Most of the dishes are not labelled and contained fish where you wouldn't expect it. The meat and fish dishes were average at best. I would recommend instead of chancing the buffet eating in Girona or Perhaps even the room service? (we didnt try it though) Over all great hotel though, bring your swimsuit

“Excellent Choice”

Even though this hotel was more expensive than the other choices "near" the Girona airport, I'm so glad I booked it. Although it's definitely close to the airport, it was quiet. The free shuttle service was wonderful and the front desk service impressive. Very, very, nice helpful people who spoke excellent English, which made things a lot easier when we asked if they could secure our luggage while we traveled to another part of Europe for 10 days. (Flew Ryanair, strict baggage rules... just couldn't take everything). So we stayed the night before our trip and the night after we returned... and our bags (with some valuables) were as we left them, locked up and safe in a big luggage room just off the hotel lobby. The rooms are clean, the beds really comfortable, absolutely no detect of cigarette smoke... which is so often the case in non-smoking rooms in Spain, and the hotel is of a very contemporary design... bordering on eclectic. The pool and spa are beautiful, but too cold for us to use (it was mid-December). The bus to Girona city was just outside the door, and although it took about 30 minutes to get there, it was definitely worth going, even though we only 3 hours to spend there. Girona is a great city. Next time, I'll stay for a few days.

“Convenient lodging at late arrivals”

Except for the shuttle transfer to and from the airport good service. I have booked the bus for 8.00 AM , but started not until 8.10, so it is wise to have enough with time to catch a flight.

“Airport hotel par excellence”

An absolutely top quality hotel for an airport location, so good that you could almost use as a base for the Costa Brava and Barcelona. Only thing that let it down was the evening meal situation, a relatively basic buffet selection, but the reception guided us to a restaurant about 500 metres away where we had one of the best meals of our lives.

“Very Impressed Cant Wait to Return”

We stayed just the one night prior to flying the next day !! The hotel is Modern and very comfortable the rooms are everything you could want !! We had Breakfast which had a very good selection of food to suit everbody !! The one small thing was the policy on under 16 only allowed to use the Indoor pool for 1 Hour 2oclock till 3 pm !! EXPEDIA sorted this out for us within an hour ? The Hotel Staff were brilliant on this and allowed her to use the pool the next morning prior to us departing THANKYOU !! It made my daughters stay very enjoyable !! The staff were very friendly and most helpfull and the transfer to the airport was very welcome 10/10

“Very convenient and nice hotel”

Our flight arrived at Gerona at 11pm so we wanted a hotel close by. Hotel shuttle bus picked us up at no charge. Hotel was very nice in all regards - the location is nothing special - as with most airport hotels. The pool and spa were fantastic. Only slight negative is that the bar and restaurant had closed by the time we arrived - so make sure you bring a sandwich and bottle of vino with you if you arrive late.

“Fabulous Surprise”

I was kind of worried at first. You usually sacrifice quality for the convenience of being right next to an airport. However, I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It was very quiet and relaxing even with the airport being down the street. I really enjoyed the decor of the inside of the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Especially the staff at the bar. They went out of their way to make sure that we enjoyed our first Sangria and paella experience. (Which is excellent by the way.) And the best part to me is that they had a shuttle running during the day and night to the airport, and a bus that takes you to the train station that stops right in front of the hotel. Overall it was a pleasant experience, and defintie find for those passing through the area.
