The hotel is just 10mins walk to the train station. There are also taxis. About 15 mins walk to the beach. Shopping and groceries and small shops around. Good location and you'll feel safe even at walking at night.

This is a fantastic little hotel, 5 mins walking distance to the Calella high street, which has some lovely shops and restaurants, walking distance to the beach, and also the train station which has a direct line to Barcelona. The rooms are clean, staff are very friendly, and if you decide on the half board option the food is varied and tasty. We are a family of 5, with 3 children (5, 6, and 11) and would definitely return.

Very disappointing. Had to contend with noise from the streets and the surrounding rooms. Asked for a change of rooms but the receptionists wasn't obliging. Left 3 days early and lost the price of 3 nights as they wouldn't refund us. I would not recommend.

The place was decent however the walls are not sound proof. I was able to hear the people next door speaking and their baby crying. Overall, the staff were very nice and the area was good. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

We stated in a ground floor apartment overlooking the Swimming-pool. The apartment was compact but clean and comfortable. Kitchenette and ustensiles provided are limited so only very basic cooking possible. We did not opt in for breakfast or half-board but food looked good. Bar prices were otherwise very reasonable. Hotel surroundings are not the most appealing but don’t be put off by the Frits impression, it is very close to the beach and Calella’s main shopping/restaurants area. Reserve a parking if you can, parking in Calella is very challenging. At least it was for us the second week of August. Big plus of this hotel is the kindness and helpfulness of the staff, both bar and reception.

Doing the Ironman stay here.
What a great little hotel and stay. Staff couldn't have been more helpful food was lovely and varied hotel was clean and tidy. Stayed here for the Ironman event which has its starting point quite close and couldn't have asked for a nicer stay.

Initially we were put in to a room which was not to the usual standard of cleanliness but after highlighting this to staff they moved us to an immaculately clean room. We go to this hotel regularly to rest, relax and catch up on sleep in the sun.

An excellent place to stay
Good accommodation which is well located for the beach, shopping and train station. Given an upgraded room on arrival which was a nice gesture. Lots of families here when we stayed so made for an enjoyable break with no rowdiness encountered. The animation team kept the children entertained during the day and the mini disco was always popular at night. The free bikes and discounted beach club are another positive feature for guests. Free WiFi is also provided. Would consider returning to this accommodation in the future.

Great family hotel.
Wonderful hotel, ideal for young families, fantastic staff, best double bed in apartment we ever had, so comfortable, apt cleaned daily & fresh towels daily. Pool area very children friendly but no life guard. Close to all shops & restaurants. Train close by going to Barcelona about an hour away. Definitely recommended especially for families.

Didn’t love the hotel and town. We just stayed one night in order to be close to the airport. The area and hotel is dated, but staff was great. The rooms are comfortable and the buffet breakfast was pretty good. The pool area is nothing special...Head to the nearby beach for a more authentic experience.

We had one of the nicer apartments at the hotel which had a balcony that had astroturf and sun loungers on it. The balcony had sun on it all day and it had a view of the pool. The room itself was very basic and only had 3 plug sockets, 1 in the bathroom, 1 at the end of the bed and 1 in the kitchen. This wasnt good especially when there are 2 of you in the room and both need to charge your phones and tablets overnight. The car park was Very expensive, it is €16 a day for a car but bikes are only €5 a day which we found reasonable. The hotel would not lwt you take your own drinks around the pool, this was rather annoting considering we was selfcatering and there was no all inclusive option. The bar at the hotel is very expensive so it puts you off wanting to buy drinks when you are at the pool.

Great hotel
Good hotel close enough to Barcelona but not so close that it was expensive. Calella has lots of restaurants that are just 5 min walk away from the hotel. The hotel breakfast is really great in comparison to other more expensive hotels. The staff is friendly and the place is clean. I was on a motorcycle so parking was easy, but if you have a car, I think you'd have to pay to park in a garage nearby. The wifi wasn't so great, but that's about my only complaint.

Third time in the hotel for last five years. The renovation done very well. Recommend for family with children. Location perfect. Good helpful staff. Only one minus the walls in the hotel not insulated against noise you can listen how someone using utility room from next room.

The apartment has a kitchenette which is handy and is only a 5 minute walk to the beach or main shopping area.. I would recommend the airport bus to Barcelona for 9.5 euro.. Guys at reception were always more than helpful.

From the minute we walked in to this lovely hotel the staff were so friendly and helpful without exception.nothing was too much trouble for them.it made for a very pleasant stay. The room was large(we had a junior suite) and cleaned every day with towels/beds changed regularly.the beds were very comfy! Also, even though it was sometimes cool outside the room was cosy. The hotel was very handy for trains, buses shops, bars, beach etc. We found the museum on the main road and the war tunnels in the park Dalmau (in the corner of play park) very interesting.the museum near the church also good.only €3.50 for entry to all.the opening times vary.we went in the evening.

Convenient, clean - perfect with kids
We travelled with a 3 and 11 year-old. Situated in nicest part of Calella. 5 minutes from train station- perfect for exploring quieter places along coastline (recommend chilled, authentic Caldes d'Estrac) and day trips to Barcelona (1 hour 10 minutes) or Girona (1 hour). Sandy tree-lined promenade great for running around in shade with little ones. Apartments very fresh and clean. 3rd floor balcony more private, but need to be on look-out for climbing with an active toddler. Perfectly OK breakfast buffet. Staff generally very pleasant. Good day and evening entertainment for kids up to about 13 (until about 10pm - if not interested best to stay out until then). The one minus - thin walls, although you soon get used to this.

The hotel was well run and managed. The cleaning staff worked hard to ensure our room, bed and towels were all clean. Pool area small but space to grab a sunbed if not venturing down to the sea. Food was fine. Limited options for fussy eating children like my son so maybe something for management to consider. Overall a pleasant stay.

Nice hotel
Very clean and modern. Decent pool. Nice staff. Good buffet breakfast. The area around the hotel was a bit scruffy, but it was only a couple of hundred metres to the beach and train station. Barcelona was about 1 hour by train which dropped off right in the heart of the city, or 40 mins by car.

Quiet hotel with great apartments for families
Staff was super friendly and helpful, and the overall experience at the hotel was great. My wife, daughter and I came for the Ironman 70.3 and our 1 bedroom studio apartment was perfect. We had a nice little kitchen, a living room with comfortable sleeper sofa, and a moderately sized balcony that accommodated all three of us, along with my bike and tri gear. Would definitely recommend, especially given the value. Breakfast was better than most, and the hotel is 600m from the beach start of Ironman 70.3.

Hotel familial calme. Sejour avec demi pension. Buffet limité mais tres bons. Au petit dej stand extérieur avec Pancake oeuf omelette. Le soir viandes et poissons à la plancha. Prix des boissons pas excessifs. Chambre cote piscine propre et grande. Petit balcon. Parking de l hotel 15€/jr . Nous en avons pas pris puisque qu il y a un parking a 1e par jour et des places gratuites a proximité ( 500 a 700 m). Piscine froide plus froide que la mer. Personnel tres sympathique. Quelques activites gratuites proposées par l hôtel. Petit train tuba .... Rue commercante a proximité. Les plages sont pentues avec de jolies vagues. Prevoir de faire les criques sur blanes pour lzs familles avec enfant. A réserver sans regarder
