Enjoyable stay and great value for money

Posted 10-Sep-2013 on Hotels.com
Stayed here for the second time now and as usual, the hotel is as great as remembered. The rooms are a decent size with your own kitchen, bathroom, good accommodation space, balcony and for some (like ours), your very own roof terrace. The rooms are cleaned every single day with alot of towels. The food is great, buffet all day! With drinks and other snacks available all around. The entertainment is great! Different everyday. Different entertainment available for different age groups. Other facilities to keep you occupied includes the basketball/tennis/football court, spa, games arcade, gym etc. Only 5 mins walk to the beach (Platja de fenals). Overall, its a great value for money and will definately stay here again in the future.

Clean, friendly hotel, quiet nice for families

Posted 03-Sep-2013
Pros: Food, cleanliness, friendliness of staff
Cons: Beds could be more comfy and it would be helpful to have some complimentary washing up aids in the kitchen of the apprt.
Location: Beach, waterpark, lively town within a short walk.
Near the town and the waterpark, but very quiet, lovely staff. Good choice of food. Clean rooms. Roomy apartments, good shop in hotal but also a supermarket just down the road. A short walk to the town. Always plenty of sun loungers, nice atmosphere.

Great for a family holiday

Posted 02-Sep-2013
Pros: Facilities and entertainment for the children
Perfect family holiday location. Excellent facilities, decent food, nicely located near Fenals Beach and away from the less pleasant area of Lloret de Mar.

Family Hotel

Posted 21-Aug-2013 on Hotels.com
We have just returned from 9 nights at the Costa Encantada. Great hotel, centrally located, short walk to the beach. Pool is a good size, room cleaned daily and good food selection. Make sure you visit the 'grill' in the restaurant. Children's disco didn't start until 9.15pm which was a bit late and was very repetitive but overall a good holiday and we will definitely return

Family holiday place!

Posted 14-Aug-2013
Pros: The pool area!
Cons: A bit far from the beach!
Pleasant hotel for our short stay, after a 2 week busy cruise ending in Barcelona. We mostly just sat by the pool, enjoyed the outdoor facilities and relaxed. I cannot rate the entertainment as we didn't bother with it, I am sure it was there but it was not too loud or bothersome as we just wanted a nice hotel with a pool to wind down before we returned home. The room was clean and comfortable for our family of 5, 2 Adults, 2 teens and a 6 year old. We enjoyed the foods both breakfast and evening meals were good with plenty of choices. We had a pleasant relaxing stay!

Nice hotel / Not so nice area

Posted 31-Jul-2013 on Hotels.com
Stayed at this hotel for 7 nights in July. The hotel was nice, great pool area. The reception staff on arrival were only fair, However I did meet nice reception staff later in the week to name but one - Gail and also one nice guy - did not get the name. The facilities were very clean and adequate. No real entertainment - except dancing and some pool activities and I believe disco for juniors at 9pm. No entertainment for adults and no atmosphere in the evening. Everything closed by Midnight and at that the place was deserted. A curtsey bus to the beach and town would be a great advantage. The transfer bus from the Airport left us on on the main road. (more fault of the transport I chose I suppose). I would not really recommend this hotel for all the above reasons - nor would I recommend Lloret d'mar if I'm honest. Despite the above I did have a nice holiday.

Good hotel for family

Very pleased with our 9 day stay in Costa Encantada. Our family 2 adults and 3 kids loved time there. Food was quite good as for typical hotel buffet standards , lots of seafood to choose. No problems with staff, all nice people. Kids loved their dicso at 9 pm with great guy showing them dance routine.

Only one night

Posted 15-May-2013 on Hotels.com
We booked this as a last night stopover before collecting our caravan from the storage facility we use. As soon as we arrived we both knew that at least one extra night would have been worth it. The apartment was roomy, light and modern. It was spotlessly clean. There is a massive outdoor pool and an indoor one for those cooler days. The restaurant was always busy and a host of other facilities make this a definite for another day!

Good value hotel

Posted 18-Mar-2013
Location: 2 minutes walk to the main road, and 10 minutes to the beach.
Nice hotel, very clean and modern. Nice outdoor pool, unfortunately the weather wasnt warm enough to use it. Set back from the main road, but only a 10 minute walk to the beach. The staff either spoke a bit of English or would find somebody else who spoke it well. Good value for money. There were other facilities there that i didn't use, because it was out of season.
