Old hotel with terrible buffet and crowded

Posted 01-Jul-2015
Room small and not as marketed. Buffet empty short after letting people in. Food not good and cheap ingredients. Hotel facilities not near what you expect from four stars. Terrible experience overall.

A great time away for the family

Posted 08-Mar-2015
Pros: Closeness to the beach, family friendly environment, helpful waiting and reception staff and fantastic service throughout.
Cons: Reduced parking rates for car users
Location: Plenty of places to eat , fantastic outdoor space despite being in town, beach nearby was well received by my 7 year old son. Fantastic train links.
It was my first visit to Spain and after reading reviews of the hotel decided to book there for their high rating on family friendly environment and closeness to the beach. It was a wonderful experience, spent 3 nights in the hotel - late February 2015 to early March. Hotel staff were exceptional, service was great and truly enjoyed my time there. It was mum's birthday and she got a glass of bubbly at the bar which was great. We all had a great time , thanks to the hotel staff.

Acceuillant et tres bien situé

Posted 08-Jan-2015
The food was very good with plenty of choice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Room very comfortable . The main shopping street of Callela is only a stone's throw from the hotel as is the beach.Only bémol- wifi isn t free and the TV is very old with not enough english channels ( no BBC) but lots of German channels. Excellent value for money and will definitely return .

Englischer Touristenbunker nicht annähernd 2 Stern

Posted 08-Oct-2014
Pros: Nichts.
Cons: Das Hotel aus dem Katalog werfen.
Location: Calella, Strandurlaub, Radfahren;

Perfect location, right near the sea front with plenty of bars and restaurants near by. Friendly staff and wide selection of food included in half board.

Good location, close to the beach, nice staff

Posted 10-Aug-2014
Pros: Location, staff, good rooms.
Cons: Swimming pool was quite small as compared to the hotel. Halal and vegetarian food options should be available. Maintenance is required in bathrooms.
Location: It is a nice area but its a pebble beach (near the sea water). All usual activities are available at nearby places.
Most of the staff was really friendly. The location is very good as it is very close to the beach and market/shops/restaurants. There were activities available within the hotel but you have to inquire as you are not told in detail about them. Variety of food was available with different menu everyday. It would be helpful if halal food and vegetarian options are made available. And these should be separate and clearly labelled. The room was nice and made up everyday. The towels were quite thin and most of them passed their life. Bathroom was OK but clearly needed maintenance and upgrade which could be a bit frustrating. Overall good experience. It is a nice area but its a pebble beach (near the sea water) which can be frustrating so better take a good pair of appropriate footwear or find a close by sandy beach.
