"Nice hotel. Near shops, buses, beach, water sports"
Very pleasant. Staff were lovely. Shuttle from airport took 90 minutes coming and two hours on return for a twenty minute journey as there were too many pick ups/drop offs. Food was adequate, good selection but meat was often over cooked. Despite this, staff were very helpful and friendly. Only downside was the slight noise from renovations to Rui Palace next door which also meant the spa and gym were closed too. In house entertainment was a bit boring but other entertainers were good and there are also lots of gigs locally that guests can go to. Overall a really nice experience.

Pocket Guide: Tenerife Costa Adeje RIU Hotels

The northern extension of Playa de las Americas, Costa Adeje’s main attraction is the Puerto Colón marina from where there are numerous boat excursions and water sports. Nightlife is quiet and the resort’s championship golf course is one of the best in the Canary Islands. Just inland is the relatively unspoiled village of Adeje and, near here, the Barranco del Infierno (Hell’s Gorge), a picturesque lush ravine, very popular with walkers.
