“A nice place to stay”

We arrived early before check in time, 3pm, and we wanted to find out, just in case the room was already ready, if not we would come back later. But as soon as I mentioned we were there early the receptionist became rude telling us the room will not be ready until 3p. I thought this was going to be an unpleasant stay. Luckily when we returned there was another receptionist and she was nice and welcoming.Overall it was a nice place to stay at and not a long drive to the Lexington and the aquarium.

“what an event”

THE ROOMS THAT WE RESERVED WERE NOT AVAILABLE AND HAD TO SETTLE FOR OTHER ROOMS. WE ASKED FOR A FOLD-AWAY BED THAT WAS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. THE FRONT DESK PERSONNEL WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND VERY ACCOMMOCATING. VERY GOOD JOB. EVEN SPOKE WITH THE MANAGER ON THE WAY OUT AND HE WAS VERY NICE AND APOLOGETIC ABOUT THE FOLD-AWAY BED. THERE HAD BEEN AN FIRE ON THE FLOOR ABOVE US AND THEY WERE REMODELING. BUT THE FOLD-AWAY, AS BAD AS IT WAS SHOULD NOT HAVE EVEN BEEN DELIVERED.

“Helpful staff”

The only dissatisfaction was there was an unpleasant ordor of disinfectant or something that I couldn't quite identify after the first night.

“Trapped in the ghetto”

I can not imagine why they decided to put this clean and comfortable hotel in the middle of what appears to be the ghetto of Corpus. They apparently recognize it themselves - the hotel property is surrounded by an 8 foot fence with one opening. I called a cab to take me 4 blocks to an Italian restaurant and he told me I made a good decision in not walking.

“ADEQUATE”

This hotel is adequate if you plan not to spend much time in your room. If you plan to be gone all day and come back at night, this hotel is perfect. The bed was extremely comfortable, not too soft or too hard. The room was clean and bug free.

“Satisfied Would stay again Great for the Price”

Unlike the description in other reviews the hotel wasn't in a bad area it is located in an older area of town right off of the freeway 5 minutes from downtown and 7minutes from the smaller beach less than 30 minutes from Padre. The hotel staff was great, the room was clean and cleaned each day. The only downside was lack of restaurants in the area

“Very clean and adequate, will use again.”

We found this hotel to be clean and adequate. It does not have the little amenities that other hotels have like coffee in the rooms but it did have a fridge and was very clean. A work out room was well equipped and there was a newstation playing and newspapers in the continental breakfast area which was appreciated.

“Great location”

This hotel was clean and in a great location in regards to Corpus Christi. Though, I didn't care for the neighborhood behind it, they had 24 hour police surveillance and cameras. Red Roof was great and the breakfast was delicious. I would go back again.
