“Is 'ok' kind of hotel”

I was staying at this hotel because it was close to the texas state aquarium, have a couple of amazing restaurants around that u can just walk to, and about my room, the sleep number bed is comfy and all but the remote to adjust the bed was broken, but lucky it was adjusted to the firmness that I like. Overall I would stay there again just because it is located to alot of awsome restaurants n and the beach.

There is a fresh water rinse on the beach side of this hotel. We would have tracked in far less sand, if we had known it was there the first night. Great stay!

“Best place to visit USS Lexington and Texas State Aquarium”

We stayed this hotel on July 19-21 for 2 nights, 3 adults and 1 year old. We absolutely love the place, which is on the beach and next to the USS Lexington and Texas State Aquarium. We booked and paid full online, and therefore the check-in was quick, we got a room in the 7th floor with the ocean view double bed (sleep number). We went around 3.30pm, but the front desk was kind enough to check in early. The AC was already running, and other than the sleep number beds, we loved everything else. We kept the balcony slide door closed during the whole time, so I believe that’s one reason why the AC was strong enough to cool the entire room. Its too hot and windy outside, and if you like to keep your balcony door open, then beware that its going to take a while to cool the room after that. Now the bad part: Sleep Number beds. I had experience with several of low end motels around Texas, but their beds were much comfortable than the Radisson Sleep Number beds. My wife had developed a back pain after sleeping few hours on this bed, and for the entire stay, she slept on the floor. I spent hours punching different numbers; none worked and felt the bed like a solid rock surface (the sleepnumber bed was not broken, it was working fine).

The bayfront window and balcony was perfect..! Hotel was walking distance to shops and restaurants,U. S.S. Lexington. Great for the amount of time we had...Hope to get back soon.

“Bad Accomodations, at a well known cahin”

Radisson needs to really clean up their act at this hotel. The hotel was better cared for and provided higher level of service under their previous ownership. The rooms were needing a good cleaning. baths fixtures were dirty and stained, the sleep number beds, didnt work, the carpet was filthy through out the hotel and restaurant. The patio door didnt close properly, leaked air and whistled. The AC was struggling to keep the room cool. Pool was newly added to the hotel, where the existing pool was sold off with the two story section of hotel, to Quality Inn. The Hotel pool, was small, dirty, unshaded, infested with gulls and droppings, and frequented by passing visitors that were using the public beach, in the front. The restaurant food was just plain NASTY. The prices paid were way out of line with the quality of the food. This hotel has an excellent location in the Corpus Christi Bay area. I guess Radisson figures, they will continue to pack em in, at any price, and in any condition. A real shame.

“Nice View, Poor Service and Upkeep”

There was a nice view, but the room smelt of mold. Other complaints--let me count the ways: the air conditioning was week (the room was never completely cool); the workout room was in terrible condition (there was no air conditioning); the vending machines were all out of bottled water (except the one on the 6th floor); the floors in the lobby were sandy, the business room computers did not read traditional word documents (they had a strange version of Windows.) I will never stay at this hotel again!

“Probably wouldn't recommend”

The staff at the hotel was very friendly. They went the extra mile to ensure satisfaction. However, the hotel does not quite measure up to the pictures shown online. The hotel is not exactly well maintained. It does have a nice view, and cute tiki huts. The glass however was not clean at all, and didn't look like it had been cleaned in quite awhile. There was hot water from the sinks, but not the shower. The air conditioner cooled the room, but never completely comfortably. The sleep number beds were nice and comfortable. Parking was extremely tight, and at times there were not enough spots available. Our trash cans were never emptied in our room, and we had to ask for condiments for our coffee.

“Good bet for accomodation right on beach”

We were satisfied with our stay. Though it is a non smoking hotel, not everyone follows the rules, so there were few cig buds outside our room, the hotel management can do a better job in this area. Rest of the things we were staisified.
