“By the sea”

Good room, fantastic view of the Gulf and USS Lexiton, close to Aquarium. Eating places are lacking.

“Nice quilt”

The hotel is clean, well maintained. The bedding is very comfortable, the quilt is cozy and not heavy as used to be in other hotels.

“Great view of the beach”

A king bed non smoking on 2nd floor with own balcony to look out over the Gulf with USS Lexington just down the beach (great place to visit). Cheaper on Expedia than with the hotel coupons you get in Denny's. In November the hotel was empty and you could see it was getting a little tired but the room was great and comfortable.

“Loved being by the Bay”

Sight-seeing was only a walk away. The USS Lexington was awesome, also the Texas State Aquarium was a good time.

“Excellent value and location”

My father, husband, and I stayed here over the Christmas holiday. We were in town to visit some family in Corpus. Loved being able to walk along the bayfront each morning and the continental breakfast was sufficient for us (we supplemented by bringing our own tamales). While the housekeeper was very friendly (she gave us candy canes), she didn't make our beds. Since we only stayed two nights, it wasn't a big deal. The price and location were just right for us.

“Decent value”

We took our dog, and had no problems with having him at the hotel. The room was pretty typical of an inexpensive hotel room near the beach - cleanish, but also cheapish. I wore shoes in the shower. Don't get me wrong; the bathroom seemed clean enough. Still, it seemed clean in the same way a college dorm shower seems clean, so I didn't want to take any chances. The hotel's not fancy, but it's pretty decent for the price. The location can't be beat.

“Not impressed”

The Motel was conveniently located to most activities in Corpus Christi, however the service at the motel lacked professionalism.

“very nice”

Much nicer courtyard and pool than the pricier hotel next door- more private and had a wind shield (important when there are 25 mph+ sustained winds).
