“decent hotel for decent price near the ocean”

Nothing spectacular but I wasn't paying for that. The hotel DID have washers and dryers for the hotel guests to use, which I didn't find noted in their information and were much needed after being on the road for a week with the family. Staff was friendly, courteous, and competent.

“great breakfast”

The hotel was VERY clean and comfortable. The room was a little small, but otherwise okay. The TV did not have a DVD player, which would have been nice. The overall best feature of the hotel was the complimentary hot breakfast. It was awesome; even the kids gobbled it up. They have talked about it ever since!

“Good Value. Well run hotel.”

This was a good hotel and the price was unbeatable. Would have preferred to stay on Mustang Island, but this was close by and very cheap. Free Wi-Fi was a big plus.

“Good!”

The only concern was the continental breakfast food ran out way too soon.

“Great for the price!”

We got these rooms on sale at the beginning of the year, but even the price my parents paid for booking later in the year was still well under many of the surrounding hotels. It was on the main road to the ferry to Port Aransas and only a few miles from the landing. It is near a grocery store and the small town main street with little shops and eateries. I have only a few minor complaints, the bed was too soft for my liking, the pool was small and closed at ten, and their were some minor management issues relating to housekeeping and breakfast, but they had some new people in training and nothing was catastrophic. Overall, we were really pleased with all the amenities we got for the price and this hotel will certainly remain a choice between staying in more expensive Port Aransas versus Aransas Pass.

“Relatively good”

This hotel was very nice considering how much I paid. If I go to Corpus Christi area again, I would stay at this hotel, go to the long beach of Port Aransas, and eat sea food at Water Street Seafood in Corpus Christi.

“Overall good deal.”

Compared to other hotels in the area, this was a very good deal. the breakfast was descent for buffet style breakfast. The price was good for the quality of the hotel. The pool is very small but enough to get wet. The hotel isn't very old, but they aren't very good at touch up painting. There are a lot of scrapes and marks on all the walls going down the hallway and in the room. The room is small but efficient. We were happy about the 2 queen beds and not full size like most hotels. The beds slept good. The location is pretty good as well.
