It looked like they had a party in the room that we had. Two out of three lamps didn't work, phone wasn't hooked up, picture on the wall was broken. Clerk said someone had a fight in there. Guess maintenance didn't want to fix anything afterwards.

This property is right off of a freeway, but surprisingly it wasn't as loud as I thought it might be. Traffic dies down around 11pm. There is plenty of parking and I felt safe. It is close to lots of restaurants and the local mall, plus Padre Island is about 15-20 mins South. North Beach is about 20-25 mins in the opposite direction. The staff was decent, no complaints there. They were all business.

Third floor had no blankets and was told we can upgrade to first floor where blankets are provided for an extra charge. Breakfast included was really only toast or muffin and the juice dispenser wasn’t working.

Room was not cleaned or stocked with blankets pillows , soap or toilet paper room was up charged because we wanted a first floor room 22 bean handicapped. Staff was not at all helpful. Please tell everyone to stay away from this property and save themselves the money and headache of dealing with this place. It is filthy.

DON"T STAY HERE!!!
The young lady at the counter was the best part of the sta. She was very pleasant and attentive. They put you on the 3rd floor , even tho' there are no other guests. If you wish to move to the first floor it's $10 a day. 1st room they put us in had mold. So they moved us. 2nd room. No mold, but no tv. Had to plug it in. No signal. The 2 bottom drawers of the set of drawers didn't open. The closet door stuck. The floor is not carpeted, which is fine, but if you didn't wear shoes your feet got black and if you did wear shoes you'd slip and slide about. Went and turned the A/C on and watched a roach scatter away, but he was on my bed the next night and went home with my friend the next day. The 2nd day they didn't clean the room or leave towels, yet they did open the window curtain. stopped by the room that afternoon and had to walk to the office because the key didn't work. Then had to go back to the office to get towels for the morning. That night we found the 1st roaches friends crawling around the bathtub. The breakfast they offer is stale old beagles and muffins. Had to throw the out. Toaster was broken, microwave didn't work. breakfast area was messy. The pool that is pictured is not accurate. The gate was chained, the furniture was musty and the water was green and yellow, The parking lot was empty all weekend. we saw one couple come in Sat. and two guys leave upset. Ironing board cover was scorched all over. Will never go back to this place again. Ever.

This is an old run down hotel. It smells like the hotel hasn’t been cleaned in years! There are bugs in the hallways and things that don’t work. The hair dryer cord is cut. I had no TV remote and no phone to call down to the office. Their breakfast consisted of a muffin and a piece of white bread. They didn’t have drinking water or coffee. The sheets were dirty and bathroom towels that appeared to be used.

I could not stay in this hotel even after they offered me another room, which turned out as the worst I have seen in my life. The level of filths littered all around the premises, and especially the filthy dirty rooms, with dirty tissue paper stocked in the mouth of the bathtub hole, dead flies on the bed, on the air-condition unit, windows, floors down to the bathroom, cigar smells, and practically unsafe for my family with two little kids. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone who cares about staying in healthy environment.

Room given at check in had a filthy tub and the fridge did not work, we were switched to another room and same issuse tub was filthy and that room had no fridge. The front clerk wasnt very pleasant about the situation, after an hour of trying to be checked in to a decent room as the lady was hard to find and the number at the counter was never answered, we asked for a refund and instead was pushed to "a nicer room" available which was an upgrade with no fridge and I had to pay more, because the 3rd floor is more run down rooms and the first floor are nicer rooms. absolutely absurd, but we did because we wasted a lot of time being tossed around rooms and it was very late and we were tired. Also the breakfast they mention is bread and coffee only. Never will we stay here again.

We didn’t stay at the property. It Was dirty like no one ever cleans, the rooms smelled like cigarette smoke. I reserved the suite it was supposed to have a queen sofa pull out sofa and it was a sofa with 2 ottoman’s. The twin sofa pull out was a pillow mat on the floor. The air vents are covered with dust and mold on the wall was covered in plaster. NOT SAFE!! Nothing like what they advertise on Expedia. They refused to give us a refund, I will dispute the charges with my bank I have pictures of everything they won’t be able to deny that filthy place!

Don’t Do It!
Disgusting. Don’t be fooled by the pictures online. Sheets were dirty. Pillows had mildew and were so old and no filling. Ac leaked all night. Walls were dirty.Tub and toilet were dirty. Total was of money! Had no choice but to stay because we booked last minute and no other hotels had rooms and once arriving and seeing how I was catfished by the pictures when I booked online i was stuck with a non refundable booking. I literally cried at how nasty the room was and had to sleep there with my children. Never again!

My stay wasn’t terrible; however, I didn’t like how they let my dog out of my room, then called me yelling that my dog got out and that I needed to pack my things and leave. I paid for a room extension. I’m not sure if there was just miscommunication happening. I had to frantically drive back to the hotel. Luckily another kind guest guided my dog back to my hotel room, but I couldn’t imagine what would’ve happened if he didn’t do so. Oh! Also I had a 2 night stay and they only programmed my hotel keys to be 1 night. When I went back to the front desk the man was trying to gaslight me and say that my stay was only 1 night and that’s why my key didn’t work. Pretty ridiculous since I paid for 2 nights, but whatever he fixed it for me. Could’ve done without the gaslighting.

Filthy! Don’t waste your time or money!
This place is disgusting! Entire room was filthy, bed was filthy, toilet didn’t flush, air wouldn’t cool, and pool was green! This place should have violations and health code violations.

Not worth $140 plus per night
First, we stayed at this hotel because all other first choices were sold out. I was grateful that I was able to get a non-smoking room with queen beds for my family of four. So, I gave poor or disappointed ratings for this hotel for many reasons. Upon arrival, several groups of people were hanging around the parking lot near the entrance smoking pot. Elevator to the second floor was sopping wet from teens going in and out from the pool (floor was warping). When we finally got to our room to flick on the lights, they were not working. Restroom light and one small lamp at the opposite end of the room were the only ones working. Bedside light and plug/usb sockets not working. TV remote had dead batteries. The beds were made, but only had sheets-no blankets. One bed had 3 small mangled or misshapen pillows that were the size of a small square decorative pillow. Upon further inspection, it seemed as if they had been washed in a machine (good thing) but not shaped or fluffed back to normal. In a drawer, I found a smoke detector which prompted me to look up at the wall and sure enough battery compartment wires were sticking out where it had been removed. Also, a refrigerator in the room was not working. It was on, but never cooled our drinks. Finally, the AC didn’t seem to be blowing hard enough as the room didn’t cool down very much even though it was set to 60.
