“Great for Weekend Getaways”

I have to admit when we arrived, the exterior of the hotel made me wonder if I had made an error in judgment when I booked the Knight's Inn for our 2nd honeymoon getaway. The location was right across from the beach and we were pleasantly surprised once we checked in and stepped inside our room. It was clean with plenty of space and contained a refrigerator, microwave, hair dryer and iron. The beds were comfortable and the shower temperature was ideal. The balcony had a nice view of the beach and the U.S.S. Lexington. The area was fairly quiet even with other hotels, restaurants and gift shops near by. A gas station across the street was convenient for stocking up on items we needed. The staff was courteous and prompt. The toiletries were sparse and left a lot to be desired so I recommend bringing your own shampoo, soap, toothpaste, and such. I also recommend booking a lower floor if stairs are an issue as they have no elevators. The pool is small but clean and well-kept. Overall, it completely met our needs for a nice weekend getaway and we had a great time. We have already recommended it to another couple and would definitely stay there again.

We wanted to be on the beach, with a pool and an ocean view balcony and this place had it all! It's not the best hotel I've ever stayed in, but it was adequate, clean enough, and the view was spectacular. Would recommend it for anyone wanting to stay in this part of town, but not spending most of their time in the hotel.

“Fine for a night's stay”

Clean, comfortable beds, covered parking, nice ocean view, a block from the beach. Staff were friendly. Bathroom is tight, may be a problem for big people. Balcony has a couple chairs, a plus. Small fridge and microwave oven.

Hotel was run down. Windows still had pain spects all over them. Bed had no mattress pad, only thin sheets. The blanket felt like wool. I was not impressed with this stay, and will not go back.

“Nice Hotel by the Beach”

I have found the hotel comfortable. It is by the beach. You can enjoy the beach from the balcony and also from the bed. The maintenance and other matters are ok with the less price. Only negative I found the wireless internet does not funtion. The complementary breakfast is not enough for someone who feel great hunger in the morning.

“Good value, friendly staff”

We stayed for 1 night on the 3rd floor. Room was clean, everything was working fine except front door was kinda hard to open. Staff was friendly. Checkin and checkout were fast. Nice view from balcony (be nice to have some chairs), convenient walk to the beach.

“Affordable, good location, clean!”

I was a tad worried before we arrived since the hotel was so inexpensive compared to others we'd also found on Expedia. However, though it is an older hotel, it was in good repair and most importantly- very clean! We enjoyed our stay, and especially enjoyed watching the sun rise in the mornings over the bay from our balcony. Much of the things we wanted to do while there was within 2 miles and the beach was in walking distance. Service was great, no problems at all and the kids enjoyed swimming in the pool in October!

It was the typical inn by the beach.The owners couldnt have been nicer or more helpful. The maid we had was also nice. We were close to the Lexington and the Aquarium.
